P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

We saw him years ago at Liverpool Summer Pops and it’s the only concert I’ve ever walked out of. Zero charisma and seemed to have a proper cob on, as we say here. -

When it goes across more than one thread to the extent it has it does feel more than just ‘discussion’ and I will leave it there! -

As a veggie for nearly 45 years due to a serious allergy I’m starting to feel a bit victimised over all this furore about the inclusion of vegetarian meals on the MDR menu. I actually preferred it when we had our own separate menu to be honest. I hope there won’t be pitchforks and flaming torches on my next cruise if I dare to order veggie 😳😉 -
Just booked Wi-Fi for my December cruise! Thanks for the heads up.

Yes that’s the one we were booked on. We would have loved to meet you and the ever glamorous Pauline, maybe one day. -

Yes it was successful but the November cruise was just a bit too soon. We’ve since booked a Christmas markets cruise on MSC, another Iona cruise later this year, and Britannia next year in a suite so we’re well and truly back in the swing of things 😂 -

Lovely photos Graham we had an aft deluxe balcony on Iona that we had to cancel after my op last year so seeing your photos makes me smile. -

I think that’s a very unfair assessment other than cancelling a significant portion of the Caribbean season what option did P&O have? Aviation is still recovering post-COVID and it isn’t as if the airlines have a cupboard full of spare aeroplanes they can pull out on a whim 🙄 -
Selbourne ‘Live’ from Aurora’s 2024 Grand Tour

We were on the cruise where some crew jumped ship in NOLA! Such a shame that means that crew now can’t get off as Target was extremely popular with crew members so much so it looked like the shop’s entire stock was making its way back on board 😂 I wouldn’t have been happy with that beignet from Cafe du Monde it looks a tad overdone. -

When we did our 35 nighter on Oriana we were berthed across from Oasis of the Seas in St Maarten and Oriana looked like one of her tenders 😂😂 -

Me also. I’m actually quite angry at your treatment and staff being near the end of their contract (if that’s the case) is no excuse. -
Live from 35 nights on Ventura, what have I done?

Banana ketchup is the only thing that makes St Lucia worth going to. Not my favourite island for a variety of reasons but still hoping I’ll get to like it one day! 🤞 -
Wow! What a fantastic surprise have a fabulous cruise ❤️

Yes that’s not the greatest. I’m supposed to take 3 iron tablets per day but I can’t tolerate it due to constipation which is why I only take one tablet and supplement with Floradix to avoid it. -

I’m so glad Frank is back home where he belongs with nothing more than an iron tablet. If he finds the iron tablets a bit hard to tolerate then a good alternative is Floradix liquid iron which is much kinder on the tummy. -

We prefer lunch in the MDR these days although we did have a fondness for the sandwich bar in the buffet on Aurora. No idea if it’s still there though. -

Such a shame you had those issues embarking the ship but I have to say our worst ever embarkation was also at Mayflower and was an absolute shambles. I hope you manage to get your other issues resolved and that the cruise starts to live up to expectations. -

Bon voyage! I look forward to hearing about your adventures -
Yes I’m definitely not as youthful looking now 😂😂. They spent quite a bit of time chatting to us, really nice people. Of course Ollie led the charge to the dance floor!
-
Yes he was there with Ollie Smith and Hugh Bonneville. The godmother was Shirley Bassey.

Adult only ships are very much not my thing but I was very lucky to be invited to Adonia’s naming ceremony. What a gorgeous little ship she is with such a nice feel to her, I can’t wait to hear about your cruise on her. Here’s a photo from the naming of the motley crew invited by P&O
