  1. Welcome home Graham and Pauline thanks for sharing your thoughts and pictures. We have Arvia booked as a future cruise and really looking forward to sailing on her. How lovely to have so many posters from over the pond commenting too, it just shows how well thought of ‘our’ Graham is.
  2. I’m aware of the Equality Act and also have a disability but don’t consider that to be registered disabled - just semantics I suppose.
  3. Not to speak for Selbourne but he is very aware of and sympathetic to hidden disabilities. I didn’t think there was such a thing as registered disabled any more?
  4. I’m friends with him on another social media site but must admit I haven’t heard from him for a while. I know he had cruised a bit before the pandemic but it takes a lot out of him.
  5. Yes I do! Such a lovely man and devoted to his wife Mandy. I’ve still got his book somewhere in the house.
  6. Yes it does. I just hope we get the weather to make proper use of it!
  7. That’s the one we have booked 😀
  8. We’ve booked one of the aft suites on D deck for later this year. I’ll report back as it’s also our first Princess cruise.
  9. I believe those performers are from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, a place I know very well. The youngsters who attend are a talented, enthusiastic and well mannered group who do our city and the Institute’s founder Sir Paul McCartney proud.
  10. Now, now David *wagging finger emoji*. Having met you I think (Adonia naming?) I know it’s tongue in cheek.
  11. As do I but I’m rather biased as a daughter of this wonderful city and now apparently as one of Annie’s godparents 😂
  12. I hope you all have a wonderful time in my city and enjoy the naming celebrations.
  13. We found what we thought was a really good price for a Penthouse Suite on Sky Princess with the Plus package so we booked it! In a surprising turn of events the price direct with Princess was over £400 cheaper than the usual cruise agents.
  14. I had a rather pleasant but emotional evening giving our club manager the send off he deserves, including a stunning rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone from Alfie Boe.
  15. If you look further back you’ll see that his Mum has been in hospital. It only takes a minute to make a quick phone call to see if she’s ok.
  16. I prefer to be organised so booking in advance is very much up my street, however I do think that some capacity should be held back for on board booking for people who prefer to do it that way.
  17. I’ve sailed with plenty of different cruise lines already thank you with another new one booked for later this year. Whilst most of my cruising history is with P&O it isn’t exclusively so.
  18. Any mass market cruise line sailing round trip out of the UK. Other than to cause controversy or to talk down P&O I don’t get the point of the thread 🤷‍♀️
  19. Will you do a write up after the event pleeeease? 😂 We’ve never cruised with Cunard but I’m very much taken with QA so far and I’m crossing my fingers for a 2028 world cruise on her as our retirement present.
  20. I do like the look of QA and the bits and pieces I’ve seen of her interior are quite appealing. Even though we haven’t sailed with Cunard (yet!) she’s on our list for potential world cruises when we retire in 3 years time.
  21. First choice of cabin on Arvia secured and paid for by 9am! 😀
  22. We’ve pre-registered for Arvia in the Med as we haven’t been to Rome and Florence for a few years.
  23. I don’t do fly cruises so not sure about itinerary but Azura is still based out of Valletta.
  24. 😂 I’ve actually got it on my shortlist!
  25. There isn’t a Canada only one in 2026. Aurora is doing a 24 night cruise to Eastern Med including Cyprus and Egypt.
