    In terms of dress code, not much difference.

    The A303 was jammed up going towards stonehenge. I decided to do a diversion onto the A30. She did not like that. For the next 20 miles...turn right......turn right. She the gave up and not another word until Crewkerne.

    I have a German car. I don't use the satnav much. If I don't follow her route I'm in big trouble.

    Different professions Harry. I did drawings for a patent agent. Just behind our office we could see lots of folk in wigs and gowns. When I went up to Wardour Street, lots of folk in wigs and gowns.......🤔🤪

    I'm making ME jealous. I met DW 50 years ago in Putney. No regrets on my part. Hers...??.

    When I left school I worked in Chancery Lane. Friday nights was middle earth or an all night at the lyceum seeing bands like Jeff Beck, The who. Kinks etc and walking home to Putney in the early hours of Saturday. My mum worked in Oxford Street until she retired. Nothing to beat Central London in those days......Now...not so sure.

    We won a quiz on Rotal Caribbean and git a key ring. We won on Brittany ferries and got a bag full of pens, note pads, markers........etc. 🤔

    We had a bit remaining at the end of our Azura cruise. We used your tactic and it soon went.🥳

    We used it last week in Areciffe. Not a complete waste of time when it's raining. Not embarrassed in the slightest.

    As their package holidays go from Stanstead, we will stick with TUI, or BA.

    I imagine you are right. Perhaps they like eating in the buffet. Perhaps they like to dress formally to wander sound the ship. Lots of reasons are possible, but their choice.

    On Azura last week, there seemed to be plenty of staff in the various restaurants. Service was quite good. Turndown would be good, but I think we have seen the last of that.

    If we do the same we save about £200, allowing for the lost deposit and extra OBC. Worth doing, but will provably hang on for now. Lesson learnt about booking early...again.😡

    We fly quite regularly with BA. Always fairly good and we get a few perques. At Tenerife yesterday afternoon the jet2 check in area seemed very efficient. Unfortunately the Gatwick flight went tech and was 4 hours late. Luckily we were on the TUI flight.

    When I got a job with a company car, one of the joys was not being forced on to public transport. We have used trains 3 times in the last 15 years. Once was the Rocky Mountaineer and twice on cheap trips to the seaside. On those 2, we took our own sandwiches. The Rocky Mountaineer, gold leaf, provided some food.Next year we are on the Berlingo express. We may enjoy that.
