We are there for a week in June. I hope not too many cruise ships. Filling up all the taxis and eating all the food from the buffet on the beaches. You can tell them all by the pool towels. 🤣

We were on the Isle of Wight, chatting to some ageing hippies. They referred to England as. North Island.

I seem to remember that during the booking process you can choose a bit of extra OBC, car parking or coach travel.

We went to the cemetery in Halifax where many of the victims are buried. Those who set off full of excitement to start their new lives in the new world. Now remembered by a headstone bering a number and the date. That's it.

Not bothered about any of them. We were driving on a coastal road between France and Spain to stopped observe the 2 minutes silence. We always ,when in Paris, go to the ' unofficial monument ' above the tunnel. Apart from her and one of her poor sons, the rest can...........🤐

We went to Paris that weekend. The only English channel in the hotel was BBC news. You can't win them all.

Haven't been on NCL since freedom day, but have been on RCI and Celebrity. Loads of atmosphere. Won't see us in Tenerife in 6 weeks. We go on Friday. Drinks prices on RC were well ott, but we had a drinks package on X, so didn't really notice.

When we were allowed out, folk will remember staycation cruises. We booked 3 nights on Britannia. We went on a cruise, we really did, wow. We booked another 4 nighter, then 7 nights on Iona, not going anywhere. Brilliant. We're on holiday again. 3 last year, 3 this year. Cruise Holidays to us are something to really look forward too and enjoy. Things post covid are different. Doctors, British Gas, call centres that don't answer for over an hour. Strikes ,politicians . We arrive in Tenerife on Friday, if we can get through security at the airport. Then we get on a ship. We can then worry about Prawns, Coasters, will P&O cancel my dinner if I press the wrong button on the app?...not. To us a holiday is to enjoy 🤣🦐
