    I'm sure all that is true. Iona £4,000, saga 2 weeks later £8,000 for 2. I'm sure Saga suits some folk very nicely Indeed, but the £4,000 difference is probably why a few thousand people a week enjoy their cruise on Iona and will forgo the above as they may have annual insurance , live near the port, use roaming when in port, etc. Getting back to Iona.......🤣

    We are on Iona to the Canaries next October. Saga go as well, but at double the price. Not really a just comparison.

    On Celebrity the wet behind the ears wine waiter recommended a dry white with the lobster. I had mateus just to confound him. He was right.🤣

    I just hope the tree and decorations are up when we go to Littlecote House in a couple of weeks. Started the Christmas shopping today. 🎅🥳

    We booked Iona for September 2023 whilst on Britannia. £4,000 for 2. It's now £4,500 for the same grade.

    Enjoy. I'm sure it will be just like Italy,but a bit nearer.🧑‍🎄

    The last 2 we booked, Azura and Iona, the select price difference was less than the OBC, so we booked select. Once the difference is about £250-300 extra we probably won't book at all.

    We are off to Littlecote in 3 weeks. Christmas decorations had better blooming well be up. Only the John Lewis advert to go. Ho ho 😶🎅

    For the Christmas Iona cruise in question a saver balcony is £3600. A select balcony is £5000 and includes £540 OBC. We always chose select and say no upgrade. If we picked saver fare, buyer beware.

    The beach at Waping was better that Whitechapel. The sand overspill underneath the concrete plant was very pleasant.

    I read the post. You booked saver and P&O selected your cabin. Now it's getting nearer to the cruise they are flogging the leftover cabins cheaper. What is the issue?.🤔

    We have a small appliance that keeps food warm using tea lights. It will heat soup up in about 30 mins. Must charge up the new elecrtic tea lights. Best to be prepared.🤔

    We cook with gas, so should be OK. We don't have a battery powered TV or Radio . DW is practicing talking at me in readiness.

    4 candles will do us. We can charge up the phones from the car.
