Back in the day, Tommy Trinder had a TT number plate on his Rolls. He said that the police may think it belonged to Terry Thomas, who did lots of charity work and let him off.
That's if P&O are ok with booking a cruise ,switching cabins half way through. I guess the rich folk could book 2 cabins on different sides of the ship, a bit like 2 sunbeds.
When we went to Canada and the US I printed out my visa ( ETIHAD ) things. I print all my docs. You may get your phone pinched, or drop it down the loo. You may think I'm a pessimist, but didn"t some WAG " accidentally" dropped hers off a car ferry.?🤣
Thanks. I know I did a diversion last year, but can't remember what it was. We are in North Devon the week before, so I imagine I will be stuffed for choices. Oh well, such is life.
We noticed it mainly in port, but it was only a minor niff. In Tenerife walking through the port I said to DW. " is it me, or is the pongy smell coming from the ship ?" She said" I thought it was the port, but it could be you ".🤔
Although the menu needs a make over we have had some of the best meals that we have ever had on a P&O ship. The lobster was historic and the byriani pie thing was stunning. Not anything like the Khyber pass takeaway in the high St.
Last couple of P&O cruises, we have avoided formal nights completely, eating in the Beach House and glass house. We will go posh if we need to, but to many folk ' upmarket ' is correct. I guess each to their own.
Our first post lockdown cruise was a 3 night staycation cruise on Britannia. We carefully examined all elements once on board. Wow, we're on a ship again. Wow, people in restaurants and bars, Wow, a theatre and a band in the club room. All things considered....Wow.
