  1. I think your questions were answered on a previous thread where you asked.
  2. Whether it's a bottle of wine you take on board and pay a corkage fee or buy a bottle on board, the staff will store it for you to access at any restaurant on a later day
  3. You may bring spirits on board for consumption in your stateroom, only. It's like the wine situation, except you can take a bottle of wine to a dining venue for a $25 corkage fee. You are not supposed to take glasses of either to any public venues.
  4. I think Hendrick's is on the standard bar menu, but I maybe confusing it with Viking. Anyway, our experiencr is that he stardard bar menu has premium spirits, just nut super premium or speciaty drinks.
  5. The upgrade includes gratuity. If one tends to attend the 2 for 1 Happy Hours and takes advantage of the Captain's and loyalty parties (free booze at both), the cost analysis is different.
  6. Actually, Louis XIII is quite smooth, not harsh.🙂
  7. As long as the liquor is on the standard bar menu, and not a specialty liquor.
  8. I think so, but we haven't asked for it.
  9. As noted above, unless you upgrade, the SM package includes only wine and beer at lunch and dinner and only in the dining venues.
  10. Only one pair on our Canadian Discovery cruise last year and only one pair on the Chilean Fjords cruise we just got off of last week. We were in a Penthouse.
  11. Have your TA contact Oceania’s special services and add a request for vegetarian only dishes. Remind Guest service when onboard. The restaurants will work with you.
  12. The SM excursion package is exactly the same as the old OLife YWC 25% discount when you meet the minimum number of booked excursions.
  13. I'm not sure which emogi I should post..a thank you or a laughing one. But either way, thanks for the update. It was informative.
  14. You don't need to have a Chase Sapphire Reserve for Chase travel insurance. The Chase Sapphire Preferred has the same travel insurance coverage as the Reserve card. There are other benefits that tje Reserve card offers above the Preferred card, but the travel insurance is the same.
  15. Same for us. Our doctor gave us a script for Paxlovid as a just in case for our upcoming cruise. Safeway filled it, and it wa totally covered by our Medicare Part D coverage
  16. The website is lagging in showing the recent changes.

    STEP?

I signed up a week or so ago for a South America trip and a New Zealand trip. I gave them my cell number and that was sufficient. I only had to specify the countries I was visiting with approximate dates. I didn't need to provide any hotel or port stop information.
  18. Do you think that O might be on the hook for the airfare and hotel because they have a contractual agreement with the airlines and hotels for bulk rates that at some point are non-cancellable for them? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
  19. My understanding is the same as @Woofa's. You purchased a b-2 at the price of a lower level stateroom.
  20. As long as you use WiFi calling on the ship while sailing or are too far from land for a land cell connection. T-Mobile's plans do not include the cellular at sea service of the ships, so you need to turn on airplane mode and WiFi to avoid charges on ships, unless you are docked and have a land cell connection.
  21. If you use WiFi calling when airplane mode is on and WiFi is on, the incoming and outgoing calls are treated as if you are calling from home and your home call, text and data plan applies. You don't need an international plan to use WiFi calling. You need it only if you are calling from shore using your cell phone for calling, texting and data. Most international plans do not cover cell calls, texting, or data using cellular at sea.
