  1. I donโ€™t remember the exact time, but it was with the walk offโ€™s, which are the first groups to go. I didnโ€™t have a problem getting a taxi. Good luck!
  2. Thank you. They apparently donโ€™t have MRI capabilities. I think he made his diagnosis from poking and prodding. He mentioned that I should have an MRI when I get home. I have already contacted my Dr. and have an appt. on Mon. the 27th. At this point, Iโ€™m just thankful it is no longer hurting.
  3. Not a MRI , but XRays. Wish I could say I was playing tennis, but I fell. Wierd thing is, I was off ship, and continued my walk back, about a mile. Went up for a bite to eat, then showered and shampooed and laid down for a nap. Everything was fine. Woke up from my nap because of the pain in my knee. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
  4. @Sunshine3601 It was painful yesterday but today not so bad. They gave me a walker to use. Iโ€™ve stayed in my cabin with my knee elevated, and havenโ€™t ventured out. Room service has become my friend.
  5. Yesterday in Honolulu I walked to the Iolani Palace and the statue of King Kamehameha. Unfortunately, the day did not end well for me. Fortunately, nothing broken or fractured. A torn meniscus is the diagnosis. Not how I planned on spending my time in Hawaii, but Iโ€™m very thankful it wasnโ€™t worse. Tomorrow is Kona, then we head back to SF.
  6. @Sea Dog Greg, I find it a little more expensive, but that is mainly because of the DP340 discount I receive with Royal. Other than that, IMO, I think they are very comparable. No they donโ€™t loyalty match, even among their own brands (Carnival, Holland, Seaborne, Cunard, etc.) I like Royalโ€™s generous loyalty perks but Princess does have an option for $60 pppd that covers your gratuities, wifi for one device, unlimited (15) drinks per day, and some other โ€œstuffโ€. To me, that is a no brainer.๐Ÿธ๐Ÿท They also have a pkg for $80 pppd. I personally like Princess, but then I am also at their top tier. I started sailing with them about 12 years ago when Royal and X left the West Coast because of all the problems in Mexico. Any other questions, feel free to ask. In Honolulu today, ๐ŸŒบ

  8. @h20skibum I am currently on Crown Princess, and no complaints. I have sailed with them numerous times, and donโ€™t see that much difference from RCL. If you have any specific questions.
  9. Happy to help Greg. Hope you are feeling better. Scratch two of your nurses under the chin for me. You can pick which two. ๐Ÿ˜น
  10. Was lucky enough to spot this yesterday morning from my stateroom. Could have sworn the ship was at the end of the rainbow.
  11. I did it in Sept., but I did not use luggage assist. I took my bags off with me and took a taxi to the airport. No problems, and got to the airport about 9:30, stress free.
