    We used ours to pay for a cruise next month. As it was a great deal we only used half of our FCC. We should get the balance after our next cruise as we are hoping to book the same cruise as Riocca from Gran Canaria to Lisbon.

    Last time I was there the rules were strictly enforced. My friend wasn’t allowed in as she was wearing a skirt which finished about an inch above her knees.

    Oh dear that’s not good. We’re boarding in Piraeus on 26th August. After the shambolic embarkation in Monaco on the Onward we were hoping for a better organised port this time. Oh well it’s all forgotten about once you get on board and enjoy a glass of fizz.

    We’ve recently booked a suite guarantee as it was half the price of choosing our cabin. We didn’t receive the OBC but before I chased it up I checked the terms and conditions on Azamara’s web site. It stays on there that it’s not applicable to guarantee cabins.

    Like you we’re probably in the minority and prefer the smaller M class ships. Our first Celebrity cruise was on the Constellation and we sailed on the Summit post refurbishment which we loved. Really hoping they don’t sell off all these ships.

    It was $139 each to Venice in May which I wouldn’t consider a nominal fee. Luckily we had booked prior to the change so our transfer was free.

    We don’t mind that it sails from Boston as we are flying from Scotland so not much difference for us in the length of journey. Only problem is we can’t get direct flights to Boston. Just would prefer a 14 night to a 12 night cruise and as someone mentioned it’s nice to start with a sea day after a long flight followed by days of sightseeing.

    We were on the same cruise and would love to do it again. We had 4 nights in New York pre cruise so it would be nice to leave from Boston, although we’ve already had a land holiday there. I wish it was still a 14 night cruise as I loved being on board for so long.

    We did this cruise in September 2019 when it was a 14 night round trip from Cape Liberty. It was one of our favourite cruises. We loved Bar Harbor and Halifax and Summit looked great post refurbishment.

    We were on Onward recently and were able to use the excursion credit to upgrade our drinks and pay for speciality restaurants.

    Celebrity and I think Royal Caribbean do this.

    I’m not sure how we’ll get it. We want to book a cruise for August but as it’s within final payment date we won’t book until we receive the credit.

    Yes we were pleasantly surprised. I thought we might be offered some compensation but surprised by the amount. We’ve been looking at some Greek Island itineraries later this year so may book one of these.

    Has everyone received the email offering a cruise credit equivalent to the amount paid for the maiden voyage?

    My husband and I will be on our first cruise with Azamara on the Onward Maiden Voyage. He will celebrate a significant birthday on board and I would like to book a speciality restaurant. I would be grateful for opinions on which one I should book. I have tried doing a search without any luck. Thanks for your advice. Jackie
