  1. NO heat producing items may be brought on board with the exception of hair curlers and straighteners. If you are found to have one it will be confiscated.
  2. This exactly. We are gone for 20 days. I usually pack a full suite case. Trying to figure out how to pack a lot less for our October in Europe - Like almost all carry on.
  3. Any heat producing product other than hair styling ones are prohibited and will be removed from your luggage. Just follow the rules. YOu are not special or an exception.
  4. We always arrive in Europe four days early. Knock on wood, we have never experienced and issue, but we allow for a lot of lag time just in case. For down south, two to three days early.
  5. I never book travel without checking my passport first. Renew and then book. Sorry, but always renew your passport first.

  9. My dh and I were in Split in 2008 and had a wonderful excursion. Just loved the area and the excursion we had.
  10. Thanks for the heads up on the pasta making excursion. We were looking at doing that one on our upcoming cruise, double checked and it is on a Sunday. So we will choose a different excursion.
  11. Would KN95 masks be acceptable or would they have to be N95. I assumed they had to be N95 and not KN95.

  13. Last week I logged on to my reservation, and noted that the amount due was off by just under $500.00. As I had not changed anything in my res, I call celebrity to enquire about the difference. After being on hold for 45 minutes and the agent going to the escalations department, I was advised they double deducted the gratuities from my original invoice and they had adjusted my account and adjusted my invoice by just under $500.00. I asked why I was not notified and I had to call and waste 45 minutes of everyone's time to discover this. If they need to adjust an invoice, I should be receiving an adjusted invoice. I never did receive a response as to why I did not get an adjusted invoice, and if it is they usual modus operandi to increase a bill by just under $500 and not tell the customer. But I wanted to let people out there know, and advise you to check your bills. Oh, and they over corrected my bill an extra $40 in their favor! I had them fix it just out of principle given I had wasted 45 minutes of my time.
  14. Do not wait for them to call you if you are on that list. I watched daily for suites for my upcoming cruise. One day, there was one available. Called and swapped our Aqua for a suite. Despite being on the waitlist, I did not get a call about that suite that was available on the website.
  15. We really like the suites on Oceania and Azamara. As a plus, both these cruiselines sail into smaller ports and stay in ports longer.
