I had adjoining cabin in K last month. No noise. I asked if they could hear my TV, they had wondered that the cabin was empty. Being new to that ship I asked for printed deck plans, told they would be delivered to my room. Did not get them, but soon found my way around. Enjoyed the ship.
An older gentleman working in the lido stopped my to look at my lanyard pins. He removed his gold pin from his shirt and gave it to me. It was a customer service crew member at the desk told me it it was given for service earned. He did not have one.
My issue with the navigator statement app is before a certain year it says not available because someone else paid. ‘Excuse me, I’m the only one to pay HAL Bills, in cash. since my first cruise. And that’s been only with HAL.
will that “someone else please come forward.”
I am proud to wear earned pin’s on my Holland America lanyard. My pins include one my late parents earned before the “stars” were. In those days they earned by mileage. I have been stopped times by HAL employees who inquired about them. One two weeks ago on the Koninsdam was so interested he gave me his 150 year magnet pin that is awarded to staff. Tears.

There were classes on board. We did not have to go down the hall to use facilities. Decks were assign to your class.
