  1. Agree, happens over the yrs and is Summer time. I started Royal Cruises they went out of Miami and rare for Ft Lauderdale, Flipped to FLL, now more back to Miami.
  2. Shoot most my Cruises on non-Oasis Class it's been 8:30 and only a few at 9pm, but even early Main Dining is 5pm on my next 3 Cruises
  3. Agree, or check their Hotel. I stay at one you wouldn't think would have it but had a 8 passenger Van with rest space for Suitcases.
  4. Think yours is early, I have multiple Cruises on Serenade with different times of 5pm for Early Main Dining inc 3 sailings next month
  5. As always any Class I'm on! Though enjoying the more intimate smaller Radiance Class until they are gone...
  6. My Mother was Office MGR for a Dentist. When Delta Dental wanted all Offices to file Insurance Claims on Computers she showed them she could type/fax the Forms over twice as fast as using their Computer hooked up to phone line. Though this was 20+ yrs ago... Needless to say Delta took their Computer back and the Office was Old School until she retired in 2005.
  7. Been on Cruise Critic(aol) joining first in 1997 myself. When CC listed the Member Numbers in order even on here I was #308
  8. Shoot 25yrs ago Diamonds, top tier at time, were first on/off Ships, had access to CL and would meet with Capt and Senior Staff. But yeah I get it, and cheap water at that, agree
  9. Ha! No, but did have a Relative serve with John Paul Jones on the USS Bonhomme Richard
  10. "Florida's Crime Rate falls to 50 yr Low" ...besides where I sit, not in Florida the Crime is over double National average and I feel safe here. Haiti/Labadee, same, never an issue there. Though do miss how was 35yrs ago. Rustic, only couple Buildings, no Amusement Park rides or no locals pushing their wares and best at most about 1/4 the Cruise passengers
  11. Yup, have always take double my Meds needed for that trip.
  12. I know, right? My Grandparents there for 40yrs and no issues. Then they are not alone: "After decades of rapid population increase, Florida now is the nation’s fastest-growing state"
  13. Father In Law would bring the Print Copies of Scripts. With his 25 different pills he felt more secure, had 3-4 Different Pharmacy's and easier then taking all the Bottles he had previous Cruises
  14. Still Cruising is alot cheaper today then 35yrs ago and that's w/o Inflation
  15. Could be worse, some Lines are charging to eat in Main Dining
  16. Depend's, Ships I typically go on do not use the Freestyle Machines and week to week have been known to Change Cup Style. One week the Coffee Cup Style, next the one Amusement style Soda Pop one with huge straw
  17. Nothing new here, last 4yrs had about 8 Cruises Changed on me, even loosing B2B same Cabins when they moved to another Ship with no FCC/OBC offered. Even had a Couple where Cruise was one day less but price did not drop
  18. Doubt will ever see prices that Low unless another Shutdown or major outbreak. Last time I paid for Cruises as Cheap were the Months after 9/11/01
  19. $121.99 next month on Serenade. I remember during CV restart my Cabanas were running $399 for all but over water that was $599. Now for next month are $799, $799, $1199, $1799 and over water+ Beach Club is $2199. But is down to 32days until Sailing
  20. Agree, one Cruise and I was Hooked! Though had wait another Decade to afford a Balcony. At $3800 in 1988 for 7nite OV Cabin and us on US Army pay, had wait a bit for Luxury of a Balcony and a Suite
