  1. Few yrs ago we had 6 Medical Emergency's(that was announced) during our 11 Nite Cruise. First one happened before we even left Ft Lauderdale. Let one off outside another Port, had speed up to next the Port for 3 others. Happens. First one I experienced Coast Guard Helo picked him up in a Basket over the Pool Deck, had to clear all the Deck chairs and had all passengers stay inside. This happened in the 90's. Few days ago we went from 13kts to 22, I guessed was due to Emergency and about 5hrs later Capt came on to confirm. We got back outside Tampa at 1020pm, they got patient off and we puttered around outside the Bay until early am.
  2. Same, stopped doing Selfie about 5yrs ago, tired of them retaking it anyway. Last week cost me all of 10 seconds extra and was still second onboard after Key/Suites
  3. All my Changes over last 35yrs were after I was on the Ship.
  4. Fluke. Boarded last week and Health Questions were on my App 72hrs before Sailing. Sure nothing will change in that time. Got to Pier they said, "See you already answered, good to go"
  5. Agree, BC and ML should be fine. Was a Single Parent raising 3 Kids when we Cruised along with first 2 I'd bring her Death Certificate
  6. Though it's Different if Cruise is Open Loop or Closed Loop. For a Decade I just used my Enhanced DL and BC for all my Open Loop Cruises. Finally got my Passport in Jan2020
  7. Yep, doing/done 3 Panama Canal Cruises, jumped 75% to 100% higher, now sold out. Price paid for 12n Repo next week same, was really inexpensive compared to what was pre-CV. All these Booked minutes after release. With SOLO prices still scoring on Royal really cant afford to "Jump Ship" yet. Thank you C&A...
  8. 3 Days ago I got to Tampa Port 10:30 for 11am check in, was on Ship 10:45. All Rooms were ready at 1pm. Doing a B4B
  9. I done many B4B and some whole Sailings I don't step off the Ship and this on older Ships. Like have the Ship(for most part) to myself
  10. Closer to when they know when/where it will be. A Week out, not yet. Most time I've had Changes it's after onboard
  11. Agree, never issue dry cleaning, so far anyway. They do great job on Pressing items. As said HOT WATER washing, seen fading and wear on multiple items myself...
  12. I've used all 3 docks in less the 10 months just on Royal. Happens at times, as said depending on how many Ships that day and Brand
  13. Agree, yrs ago was after Late Show 1030-1130pm. Too many Family/Kids watching during Daytime Shows
  14. For yrs 70-80 I use to Win this at Carnivals and Amusement Parks all the time. Did Win some good stuff back then. They'd always guess average 20# too low.
  15. 3 other Ships I was on, Long and Short Sailings been running them during Day for while now
  16. Luck, in last yr Miami, LA and Tampa counted my Bottles. Even had throw one out I drank from while in line taking my Meds
  17. Though it's 12 count per Cabin Soda OR Water OR Snapple per Cabin. Last year a Family of 6 was trying take on 6 cases of Pop and 6 of Water. Dad had it on a portable Dolly. Security turned him around and took them back to his Car as the Son carried one case on
  18. Wow, feel for you. Have connecting on Saturday for Monday B4B Serenade Cruise but dont even have get off to change planes. Return Flights next couple Cruises are Direct. 20-30yrs ago most time would Drive 1200-1400 Miles each way for Cruises/Disney, Single Parent with 3 Kids was expensive Flying. Gas was so cheap only $100-120 rt driving even with a Ford Expedition in 90's-2000's
  19. Once just made it to Airport, 8+ inch of snow fell in the nite, a normal half hr to Airport took 2hrs and this in 4 wheel drive. Got on the Plane, last one leaving until storm passed just to have us slide off the Taxiway. We were stuck for hrs. Was first time I ever planned to Fly in day before Cruise so it worked out and didnt miss our Cruise next day. Now I do 2 nites each time and relax
  20. My problem last 15yrs I'd experience it in one State, get threw it, then go to other State just in time to live with Allergies all over again during their peak months
  21. Yup, I don't like to be on a Cruise w/o feeling the Ship rocking some. Like the Motion of the Ocean
  22. Use to Cruise Labor Day most every yr, was first week of what they called "Off Season" being 25-50% Cheaper then Summer Cruises. Don't think I ever had a Sailing w/o named Storms/Hurricanes. One yr was 4 that week, Seas were really churned up. Weird thing is last Labor Day week Cruise did we got home early am on 9/11/01
  23. Don't think so. I'd bet still has same furnishings in the Cabins I had 9 months ago and March/April 2022 when I was on her. Ships have their usual Dry Docks but rarely in Cabins are much let alone all replaced/updated. Maybe they worked on some Suites
