  1. Reminds me issues had over Decade ago. Was taking Repo Open Circuit Cruise Boston to Florida. Traveled out of Country before but that was for Military, Cruises, Canada and Mexico and never had Passport, but had a Enhanced DL. At Check in multiple people said I would not be Cruising today. Was sitting with Group others that only had Reg DL. They didn't Board, I did
  2. I've found at times that discounts 340DP cant be applied online first 1-2 days. Made it hard for me to decide what real price is and if should Book until know. This happened to me on longer PC and Repo Cruises the nite they opened in 2022 and 2023... Good Luck!
  3. I'd bet many to most Restaurants that serve Crab Cakes call them that though they inc some or all Imitation, it's nothing new.
  4. True though 39 as Grand Parent far off. My SGT in ARMY he became Grand Father at 32, now that's a Wow!
  5. Though Jumping/Falling is really nothing new. "Total of 212 overboard incidents on Cruise Ships from 2009 to 2019. But of those hundreds who went into the water, only 48 were successfully rescued" ...I remember one from years ago, Senior Citizen on return leg of Cruise packed his Suitcase in his Cabin and jumped. Was a while before they even realized he was Missing.
  6. True but they are not really Side by Side. On Serenade Starting in Tampa B4B ending in Boston THEN shoot to West Coast and Start a B3B on Radiance ending in Tampa
  7. Sure, rub it in! No happy for you all. Can't do World Cruise but couple days ago counted it out and just on Serenade I've done 268nites(so far). Going on her for all of Sept inc Repo then moving over to Radiance for Oct... Going to enjoy this Class until it's gone
  8. When North Star came out was lot complaints why have to be weighed, it's limits are also for possible for rescue. If breaks and you are stuck the equipment used to lift and lower you is reason for max weight of one person. To OP almost all Water Parks ans Amusement Parks have Height, age and weight limits, Disney, Universal, Six Flags, ect. Even NCL and Carnival have limits on their's and I'm sure Royal didn't pick a random number out of thin air without reason
  9. I would and have. Doing 42 nites this Sept/Oct, inc a PC and a Repo though it's on 2 Ships
  10. Was a young Single Father. My Wife passed and I'd still take Kids on Flights and Cruises so I'd Bring ML, BC and Death Certificate. They asked more then once. Now Agents are Trained to watch for Trafficking... My Dad had it worse, had us 3, he remarried had Daughter, New Wife Died but right before happened he Adopted her 2 Daughters. Remarried, 3 Daughters. Lot of Paperwork.. I currently have 37 Nieces and Nephews
  11. Feel for you, lost at least half dozen Cruises from Charters inc messing up multiple B2B's and even a B4B that was in the middle
  12. Thinking same. Carried it myself 2 Decades ago just in case, really would be sad to be left at Port because they never asked for it before...
  13. During CV Booked 24 Cruises, many low as $50 a nite SOLO/Balcony, all but 6 were Canceled. Been doing 4-8 Cruises of 10+ nites last 21 yrs, 4-8 a yr last 13 all on Radiance Class so have base line. Panama Canal and Repo's been lot lower then were 4yrs ago, On Jewel a 14n SOLO Corner/Aft Balcony Pre-CV was Booked at $3998K for me 4yrs ago, doing 16nite PC this Oct on Radiance for $2300. This Sept doing 12n on Serenade for $1600, same Repo reverse direction was $2300 in 2019. So I can't complain my Sailings though admit some are back up what they were in the past and I wouldn't pay those rates...
  14. True, though I remember thats exactly what I paid in 1988 for a Deck 2 tiny Port Hole Cabin. Did Pay $799 for Owners Suite, total price me Solo but that was right after 9/11. Way inflation has been, Ships usually Sailing well over 100% Capacity I'm happy with what I'm paying now on my Booked Cruises, cheaper or same as Pre-CV, though the Discounts offered really help... Though we'll see in I feel same in few months what next Release brings...
  15. But always posted Upside down... Been collecting Ship Magnets since 80's, I also have Ship Shape $1 and a Tshirt from back then
  16. Good as Cruises last 10yrs for 10-16niters I was on always a Different Menu each nite
  17. Agree, I only know Balcony's also. Booked Panama Canal Fall 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024. The 2024 were a lot higher day of release then 2023. When 2025 come out bet they will be even Higher yet, getting back to outrageous Pre-CV PC prices
  18. Don't think they do that anymore and do also remember Cart and even Shops selling Flowers inc dozen roses on Royal but that was Decades ago. Back when you could Board a Royal Ship with just clothes and your back and Buy everything you needed on the Ship
  19. Used on my Cruises for over a Decade and never lost one. My Original Set back then was bought on Cruise Critic
  20. Same here, then Penmanship isn't even taught in any of my Grand Daughters Schools. A dying Art...
  21. Was enforced on my last Miami Cruise also, so does happen at times they group at least the first passengers arriving. Seen this at Tampa, though was last Fall on a Ship on day of Repo arrival.
  22. But don't forget Double Points last yr. I did just 8 Cruises and and got 216 points myself
  23. True, surprised when they do pop up. Most time have it was on Cruise with bunch open Cabins and/or with off peak dates.
