  1. Agree, done this couple times. Had tell my Daughter I Booked her on Cruise with me and that she wasn't going
  2. At time all McDonald's coffee was served at that Temp, 20 degrees warmer then say Burger King was. Micky D's lost case but In end final amount was settled out of Court
  3. Happens, I've had 3 Sold out Cruises just in last 8 months. At times a Cabin will showup when someone cancels lasting for few days then Sold out again
  4. Nope, Wasn't in Kids play area. He stuck his head out the Window for 20 seconds, then he lifts and holds her out Window for 30 seconds before dropping her. There was no Taping on Window.
  5. I remember walking into a Port for a Cruise and get or pay for upgrade cheap! One I did had a OV and got a Jr Suite for $50. This back when Cruises were more expensive they are today
  6. Agree! Enjoyed this starting on our Honeymoon in 1988. After our 2nd Dining ending about 10:30pm we'd run back to Cabin to PU our Mints and see what was on the Cruise Compass for following day, after just making it to the 10:45pm second show. Following the show we'd run up to the Midnight Buffet. Doing longer Cruises where almost half the nites there is no show or combined one that takes place between early/late meals.
  7. Shoot before 5yrs ago Lot of my Booked Cruise would have just came out(an example)in May/June 2023 for my Cruises in Oct-Nov 2024. Now these same Cruises are out 560 days and more
  8. Hitting Golf Balls and Skeet Shooting off Open Deck. Bring back the Trays for Windjammer. Turn down service, I want my dang pillow mint back!
  9. True! Though even Tampa have left one Pier returning to another multiple times. Was on B4B last Fall standing on my Balcony watching hundreds passengers dragging bags across 2 parking lots. We had late arrival one week where they made all new passengers wait outside the Fence on Sidewalk. Knock on wood, after getting to Port never had wait more then 30min to Board a Ship
  10. Yet as Firm as they are were REALLY Firm few yrs ago. I'm lucky though, could sleep on the Cabin Bed, Couch or Floor and get good nites sleep
  11. Done this at least 6 times out of Port Everglades Royal had us leave from one Pier come into another. Was doing it at least once a yr pre-CV. The one time we drove down they ran Buses and Shuttles to Parking Ramp, but most times Pier to Pier was walking distance of about 5-10 min walk
  12. Use the tough plastic sleeves attached to our Luggage, also have always carried on changes of clothes, on Ship and Airline, just in case. Then traveling with someone Wife, Kid, would split clothes up, half in each bag. Started this when one our Bags was flown to different State, arriving 24hrs later to our Port Hotel. Finally, last 20yrs have arrived at Port 2 days early. Seen too many miss Ship due to Weather, Flights Delayed/Canceled, or car issues. Fly 12-14 times a year and see this happen more last yr then have in my 40yrs of traveling
  13. Nope, News was interviewing Passengers that were staying on the rest of the Cruise but were ashore to catch a game
  14. Agree, couple yrs ago had great Mod on Royal thread and he'd combine Threads. Was almost daily when CV started
  15. Agree, years of this happening posted on here where many were not notified until later near Sailing Dates
  16. Yes, thanks just looked Cruise was 9yrs ago, 10yrs was sticking in my head as order was talked about on here on CC a lot in 2013. Was sure it wasn't 6 though.
  17. Always makes Contact just not at high rate of speed!
  18. Pretty sure was at least 10 for Royal. In 2013 was only time I ever had a connecting Cabin. Guy next to me would Smoke on his Balcony with door open, smoke would blow under our Connecting doors. Called Security twice, second time they caught him he was Fined the Cleaning Fee
  19. Yup, no issues: Australia’s borders are open, and there are no Australian Government requirements to: give proof of a negative COVID-19 test on arrival to Australia supply proof of COVID-19 vaccination wear a mask, although this is encouraged
  20. Happens, even scored one the best Cruise mistakes myself. I remember one so cheap Royal made everyone pay what the correct price was supposed to be or cancel their Booking
  21. Agree, not as often as was 5yrs ago but Royal needs downtime to raise prices
  22. Yes, on some sailings the Midnite check in isn't available. Seen short delays by Hrs-Day and months ago had one that was 10 days later for some reason.
  23. Agree, normal. Done Thanksgiving almost every yr on my Sailings were no additional up charges for the Meal like you see over Xmas Holidays
