  1. Yes Royal can bring both Cans/Bottles. That's why I bring the Plastic Bottles, 12count limit of 12oz Cans OR 16.9oz Bottles, I'll go with more fluids
  2. Some Ships have search for certain Flavor Cookie. Might be in WJ or different Venue. Like Ranger and the Coco w/chocolate chips. When see them I'll grab a dozen and keep them in Ziplock in my Fridge
  3. Done multiple Thanksgivings on Ships, US Stops inc PR, St Thomas and most Stores were closed and streets empty
  4. Yup, back to Pre-CV numbers. Funny thing is I only Sail on longer 10+ nites on Radiance Class Ships and been almost 3 decades since I was on a 100% plus Capacity Ship.
  5. Yeah and I had couple Cruises last yr you could not pick arrival time until 30days out. Rare but happens
  6. Nope, never had plastics taken from me. Cruising Royal since 1980's, carrying on my Dt Dew since 1993 and do 4-8 Cruises a yr. Limit is 12ct 17oz each. Went out of 3 different US Ports in last 12months, never an issue
  7. No, never heard about ban on plastic carry on. Royal even sells water in plastic bottles. Must be some other line youre thinking of. I always bring 12ct of 16.9oz bottles
  8. Like my Diet Dew, been carrying on my Royal Cruises for 30yrs. On NCL they had same drink/bottles in Vending Machine to purchase so no need carry on their Ships
  9. Sales would have seen last 3 yrs not needed this yr. CV/shutdowns over, Ships back to 108+ percent Capacity
  10. That's the important part, the rest is just $.... To other Poster, there always a lot of extra Lifeboat Capacity
  11. Back in 1988 on Sovereign was $3800 for 2 of us doing 7n in Deck 2 Port Hole Cabin. Had no Beds in Cabin, 2 couches that Attendant had make into Beds every nite.
  12. Stayed in 2BD/2BA on other ships, only one Attendant and he also had at least 10 Suites to do. Unless you are REALLY dirty not that much to clean
  13. Had Port Changes dozens of times, Weather, Civil War, Medical Emergency's. Once got $30, few times free drinks for couple hrs, extra Sea Days on most and on all rest of them...nothing
  14. Agree, do Repo's every yr and last one did in Oct when I looked out with less then half passengers off not Single Taxi in sight. Though many now use UBER type, less Taxi's show up like have 5 plus yrs ago. This was Tampa and same thing happened here, they kept new passengers outside the Fence on for quite a while
  15. Nope, I wish. Still have 4 now Past Cruises listed in my History that were Canceled now over yr ago. Got Refunds, never fell off Royal Site and never got points for them
  16. Yup. 90's-early 2000's we use to do end of Aug/Labor Day week. One yr we had 4 named Hurricanes/Storms, during 3 years we had to change at least one stop and one we did the Ports were in reverse. Year of the 4 named, Wow! Even though we missed them all(of course) Gulf was all stirred up and Ship was a rocking, water washing out of Pools, plates crashing in Main Dining and by end of week couple dozen passengers with sprains and breaks in Wheelchairs and on Crutches. As many know my experience isnt typical for weeks around Labor Day, but can happen
  17. True, as I said in 1988 for 2 passengers on 7nite Cruise was $3800 in an Ocean view Cabin. Unless we have another 9/11 or CV shutdown situation prices will stay up, High as are now and Royal is still running pre-CV numbers running average of 108+ percent capacity. Without even taking Inflation into it now prices are about 1/4 that.
  18. 30+ years ago Cabins were Ready on Royal also though back then they didnt start Boarding until after 12:30. Funny thing is Keys were in Cabin with Door open like they do again now.
  19. Not surprised. Normally I'm one last off Ship and on my 2 Dozen Repo's, Sailings not doing reg run's, almost 50% the time last off has been 10:15-10:40. This on Radiance Class. LA, TPA, FLL didnt matter. At times only 3 were doing Passports, couple times only 2 when I'm getting off. Never heard any announcements on Ship what Delays are/were
  20. Agree, even experienced that couple times when on Caribbean Cruise had multiple days of rain. On Sea Days open 2hrs at a time for Kids is what I remember. Also on Boston to Florida Repo's out of Boston on Day 2
  21. Agree, haven't done PC but have paid 8 Days for 7 nite many times Cruise Airport and Port, this going back decades
  22. Most likely Oct or later. Just checked, for East Bound Booked my Oct 2023 Radiance PC last March 28 2022, and the Oct 2024 sailing on Feb 21 2023
  23. They do but many times announcements are after most passengers are ashore
