  1. Unbelievable that I am even replying to this, but yes! Thin sliced on a fresh roll with a tall cold beverage. Roll and beverage also carried back to the room. May even sneak a cookie onto the plate! 😎
  2. Getting back to the original question, one thing to consider is the specialty restaurant policy. I am particularly speaking of Crown Grill. If you have any food at the end of your meal, they do NOT provide doggy bags, but WILL send the food to your stateroom. My wife will often only eat half of her steak and we send the rest to our room and put it in the refrigerator. You will see people all over the ship carrying food. It may be from the burger bar, the buffet, the International Café, or any other venue. Just treat them the way you would like to be treated. Too many folks in the elevator? Wait for the next one.
  3. For me, nothing compares to the James Beard French Toast. I have it in the Club Class dining room every morning. Not on the menu? No problem.🤠
  4. I have investigated Bounce and found one right across the street from Prospect Park in Brooklyn where we want to attend an Audubon Society birding field trip. Thanks for the tip about Bounce!
  5. What a great idea. We are indeed staying in a hotel in Brooklyn just a mile from the terminal. That never would have occurred to us. Thanks.
  6. We will be getting back to NYC (Brooklyn terminal) early on a Saturday morning in October. Our flight does not leave LGA until 4pm. Obviously, we do not want to spend all day at the airport. In fact, my wife says she will NOT spend all day at the airport. The biggest issue is with luggage, as you can imagine. We could easily take cabs here and there if we did not have baggage to contend with. Does anyone have experience with this type of issue? There is a Princess excursion that tours the city, but you have to be on flights that leave after 5pm as the excursion bus does not get to LGA until after 3pm. Thanks in advance for any help.
  7. On the Medallion app it shows us as the Green Lane, Group A for our sailing on Majestic tomorrow in Vancouver. I do not see where it gives a time for us to show up to board. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.
  8. We are excited about the possibility of visiting a new port. We are scheduled to be in Skagway on August 3rd on the Majestic. We like Skagway, but we have been there several times. Either way, we will make the most of the day. Do not worry about your prepaid excursions. Princess will refund the money, get you a new excursion, or give you OBC. Look on it as a new adventure, not an inconvenience.
  9. Yes, I have cookies on. I just looked and next to the Facebook and Pinterest logos is an envelope, then "Live Chat", then "Contact Us", then "Site Feedback" and finally "Free Brochure". I am on a Microsoft Surface running Windows 11.
  10. Late September was our first cruise after the restart. We had a great time. More time to talk to the locals who really appreciate the cruise folks. Smaller crowds. Yes, the weather can be wet, but we were on the Majestic and simply LOVED the Hollywood Conservatory on sea and glacier days.
  11. At the bottom of the home page, the CHAT button is just left of Contact Us and just right of the Facebook and Pinterest logos. Sometimes they are busy and say try again later, but if you just keep clicking on it you will get through fairly quickly.
  12. I agree about booking early. Our RT for this trip (Colorado to Vancouver out and Anchorage to Colorado return) is now over twice what we paid. We are big fans of Southwest, but they do not fly to Vancouver or Anchorage, so we are on United.
  13. Here is something I posted on our Rollcall for the Majestic cruise on 7/30. Caution: Horror story follows. Our friends decided to fly day-of from Tucson to Vancouver. They contacted EZAir and got a routing on American Airlines on Saturday morning through LAX that would get them to Vancouver at 1:05pm. Even with the departure time change they figured all would be well. Enter EZAir. They decided that 5 minutes was 6 too many and changed their booking. The new itinerary was leaving Friday night at 6:30pm going from Tucson to Phoenix. They would have a FOUR HOUR layover in Phoenix then fly to Chicago O'Hare where they would have a FIVE HOUR layover before flying to Vancouver where they would arrive 29 MINUTES earlier than their original routing. YIKES! I told you it was a horror story. Today he called Princess and actually got through after only 90 minutes and was soon transferred to EZAir. They found their original flight was also available on Friday, but he would have to pick up the cost of a hotel Friday night. OK, he said. The rep said she just had to get her supervisor to approve the change. He was then put on hold for TWO HOURS before the approval came through. Our experience was only moderately better with United's Friday flight. However, we never try to fly day-of and always go at least one day early. ================== If you are flying to Long Beach be sure to look into going on Southwest and avoiding EZAir.
  14. The reason we are sailing on Majestic this coming Saturday is because we had a Sapphire cruise cancelled that was supposed to leave two days ago, July 23rd. We were never given a reason, just a "sorry about that" email and some OBC.
  15. I do not know about Royal, but we have had corner suites on the Regal and Majestic at the rear, and the balconies are gigantic. We had 10 folks on the Regal balcony in December and no one was crowded in the least. Those were real treats for us and probably won't be repeated. 😉
  16. Next time you are on a Princess ship, go to breakfast or lunch (on sea days) in the dining room and order the James Beard French Toast. It is my favorite breakfast of all time.
  17. I am on that cruise and this morning I got an email Upsell offer. Since this is our 50th anniversary cruise we decided to go for broke and asked for a specific suite - M723. Within 20 minutes we received confirmation of that cabin. The rollcall for this cruise is sparse and has not addressed this issue that I can see.
  18. We will be on Majestic July 30th. Can you please tell us which nights on the northbound trip were the formal nights? Thanks.
  19. Thank you. We are birders and thought we might get some good views, so your post, along with others, makes us glad we booked this excursion.
  20. Congrats!!! We are also celebrating our 50th this year and will be on the Majestic next weekend (July 30th). We are making this year one of travel, too. Good for you guys!!!!
  21. When the Majestic Princess docks in Whittier on the morning of Aug 6th it will be about 18 hours before our 11:44pm flight out of Anchorage. We have signed up for an excursion called 26 Glacier Cruise with Airport Transfer. Have any of you taken this excursion? Did you enjoy it? Any tips you can offer would be appreciated.
