We sail on the Majestic on July 30th and are wondering if the ships are now being sold out? On our Alaska trip in Sep 2021, the Majestic was a little less than half-full. A CC person on the rollcall for our trip said they tried to do a mock booking for this cruise and no cabins were available. Thanks.

The Hollywood Conservatory makes Majestic our favorite Princess ship, and we have sailed on a dozen in the fleet.

We have spent the past week on the phone with United's call center - overseas, of course. We were able to get seats on our outbound flight from Colorado to Vancouver and the charge went through. Then we tried to get seats on our return flight. The charge went through, but NO SEATS. So we called, and called, and called. We talked to United Customer Service reps, supervisors, and managers for six days and they all said they were baffled about why we and they could not get seats. So today we tried again and JOY we got a CSR named Joy!! She said let me look. It turned out the folks at EZAir booked our outgoing flight as standard economy, but the return flight as basic economy. What!?! That means we have to wait to get our seats at the airport - at midnight on a full flight. Okay. That's not going to happen. She first said we should contact EZAir. When we all stopped laughing we asked if there was a solution. Yes, we could upgrade to standard economy for ONLY $99. Well, we did that and she gave us seat assignments at no charge. So we broke even on that, I guess. In short, BOOK. YOUR. OWN. AIR. TRAVEL. This cruise is for our 50th Anniversary, so we refuse to let this spoil our trip.

We stayed overnight the night before and then went back to Sea-Tac for the transfer. We saw that it was going to be at least two hours before we would leave the airport, so we grabbed a cab and got to the pier at 8:45am. We had to wait for the previous cruise to finish its disembarkation, but we were in the first five in line and we were processed and on the ship by 11:00am. We agree that you should not use the transfers there. I even went to the purser's desk and got the transfers refunded to OBC. When we got back to Seattle the very same cab driver took us to our hotel and then picked us up the next day to go to the airport for our flight home. Cheaper, faster, more comfortable!

I wonder how much Princess is saving by not giving out the evening chocolates?!? 😃

We have always chosen our excursions, paid for them, and enjoyed them. For our upcoming Alaska cruise there are several we are looking at. Can anyone explain the "Wish List" link? Do we have to pay? Is it just for our use?

Great! Thanks to all. By the way, we will be flying Southwest into LGA for a New England cruise on Enchanted Princess on October 1st, so I was a little confused about that. Love Southwest.

Big thanks for the port correction. I only booked it this afternoon and obviously did not pay close enough attention. These CC forums are lifesavers. I'll go back to the drawing board and maybe take remedial reading lessons. 😏

We have booked a Mexican Riviera cruise in late Jan 2023 on Discovery Princess. The best flight for us is on Southwest to Long Beach airport. Does anyone on this forum know about transportation from this airport to the Long Beach port? Does Princess offer transfers for any airport other than LAX? What would a cab cost? We are really looking forward to this cruise, but have not faced these transportation questions before. Thanks in advance for any help.

When we were on the Majestic last September, they had Lobster rolls at the hamburger bar for $15. Do they still offer that? Thanks.

The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal schedule shows Enchanted on 10/1, so we won't be sailing from Manhattan.

We will be on the Enchanted Princess sailing October 1 roundtrip NYC. If we fly on Southwest, we will go into Laguardia Airport, not JFK. Do Princess transfers work at both airports? Having never been to NYC for a cruise, I want to make sure we make the right decisions. Thanks to all for any help.
