We passed twice on the 3 day pre and post 3 day Regent package in Tokyo. Took the credit. Booked our own hotel and our own private guide and transport to and from the port. We had a first class experience while in Tokyo on our own planning. We don’t like experience that Regent provides.

No problem with Rx drugs. If you are concerned have your doctor write a letter for you stating all the drugs you are taking. Just make sure they are in the bottles with the accurate labels. Most foreign airport employees can barely speak or read English. Put all your Rx bottles in one large plastic bag.

Regent passengers who are Platinum and above do not pay the deviation fees.

Additional dinner reservations can be booked once onboard.

Regent Air is not good at looking at connection times when arranging flights. Don’t accept a flight unless you really look at the connection time.

We are Platinum level on Regent. We don’t book Concierge or above suites. We make our own hotel reservations and transfer to the ship or to an airport. Taking a packed bus to the ship or an airport is not a luxury experience. Most of the hotels Regent uses in my opinion are not luxury hotels.

Flying into a debarkation port and spending one night prior to boarding is very risky with all the delays, cancellations and lost luggage issues that travelers are encountering. Flying in the day the ship leaves is way to risky and stressful. We have been cruising regularly with Regent for 22 years. We have never flown in without spending at least two nights prior to embarking the ship. The only exception is boarding a cruise that leaves from Miami. If you use Regent Air you may have multiple stops .

Wondering how many passengers are stuck in in Israel and won’t be able to get to Istanbul to board the ship.

These two couples are currently at the airport in Israel waiting for their flight to Dubai and then on to Istanbul. The flight has been suspended.

How are passengers who are already in Israel supposed to get to a different port… Athens or perhaps Istanbul if there are no flights from Israel to these other countries?

I know 2 couples currently in Haifa. Supposed to board on October 15. Would be very difficult to leave Israel and fly to another port in another country with all the conflict. I’ll bet there are other passengers who went to Israel before the cruise.

The Loden. Boutique hotel that can be booked thru American Express Platinum. Can walk to Joe Fortes!!! We had a great dinner there.

We were on a cruise from Stockholm to South Hampton. There was a young couple with a 2 year old little girl. They were in Pacific Rim seated in the middle of the restaurant. The child cried and fussed the entire time. Everyone was annoyed!

The glass water bottles in the rooms are awful! Too big and heavy. Makes a mess when pouring water into a glass. I won’t drink that as I don’t know what’s in it.

Ask your room attendant to bring some.

We bought rubber collapsible water bottles on Amazon. Easy to pack. I insist on having bottled water while onboard and use it to drink in our room and to fill our water bottles. We rinse out the bottles with hot soapy water and air dry.

We live in NE Florida and prefer to fly Delta from Atlanta when flying internationally. Last November Regent wouldn’t put us on the direct flight from Atlanta to Rome. We had to fly out of JFK and had to change terminals and the train was not working. Just awful!

I understand how the Air Department works. My concern is at the 210 day booking is how many Business Class seats are left when the airlines have been selling them months earlier. By the time you speak with the air department and then decide to get your own tickets the fares and availability has changed since those flights originally went on sale. We have been flying internationally again since September 2021. Planes are full.

With booking only 210 from Embarkation how many seats will be available on flights? Airlines sell seats 320 days out. Regent May have contracts but if there are no business class seats left then what? Why the change to 210 days?

When are prices going to be posted?
