  1. Who says it doesn't go to Galveston? 🙂 I don't buy into a 3/4 night debut for Utopia. Sorry. I have no evidence to prove my believe so time will tell.
  2. Book a Royal excursion and you won't have to worry about it. 😉
  3. No cruise line seems to have problem filling new builds for 7 night cruises. I just don't see it happening. Not to say it won't but I personally would be very surprised.
  4. Has any Royal Caribbean new build ever launched doing 3/4 night cruises?
  5. FTTF = Rules don't apply to you FTTF can do whatever they want whenever they want You want to pilot the ship for awhile? No problem. Just go to the bridge and have at it. You see a line, you skip it, and go straight to the front. You see one of the dancers in the show that looks hot. Just tell a staff member and they will be waiting in your cabin later. You go to the pool and the chairs upfront have stuff on them? You just toss that stuff in the trash and take them. Muster drill - You don't have to go Dress codes don't apply to you. Drinks and steakhouse? You get them all for free and ahead of everyone. Just flash that FTTF sticker on you sign and sail card and you are good to go. It really is a great program!!!
  6. Don't bother Carnival phone reps with this please. 🙂
  7. It happens from time to time. Same thing happened to me today, Give it a bit. Mine came back in about an hour.
  8. Can anyone show me a better option than https://www.foldandgowheelchairs.com/ ?
  9. Steel cutting started in April 2022 - some considered that the official start https://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/video/1225/utopia-of-the-seas-construction-update-construction-begins-on-royal-caribbeans-new-oasis-class-ship// Keel laying ceremony took place in July 2022. Shipyard said it was a 30 month build time in their own press release so none of the dates makes sense because they say delivery is Spring 2024. That would not make sense with an April, July, or September start date.
  10. Icon construction started April 5th, 2022 and is supposed to deliver late 2023 (December) so 20 months. Utopia construction started September 2022 so 20 months later would be May 2024. No?
  11. Not 2Q or end of of May 2024 ??? That is what I have seen multiple places.
  12. What are you best guesses on WHEN we will see Utopia of the Seas bookings open up? Also guesses on WHERE it will be deployed?
  13. Be prepared for fog delays in January out of Galveston. 😉 I was on the 1/15 Yeshiva week cruise on Wonder of the Seas and had a fantastic time. I didn't have an issue with that group at all. I seen them all around the ship. Everyone's experience can be different. 🙂 I wouldn't worry about it.
  14. We don't like to eat late either. We could only get 8:15pm the first night in Chops but we got 5:30-6pm time slots the rest of the week for every restaurant we wanted including Chops again. However, we went straight to the dining reservations line when we boarded.
  15. We were on the 1/15-1/22 cruise and had a friend who did that one and the 1/22-1/29 cruise after it and the Yeshiva week Solarium Bistro takeover was on both weeks. On the 2nd week they had a sign at Sorrento's guiding people to Kosher pizza. We did not see that the 1/15-1/22 week. I was told there were around 1000 passengers under 12 years old on the sailing out of 6700 total. I had an awesome time on the cruise and my only complaint was there were some serious chain smokers in the main casino making that place pretty unbearable a lot of the time. I've never had that issue in any other casino land or sea.
  16. Are they still having propulsion issues? Any changes in the itinerary hours or port order?
  17. Someone on our ship shared some video of it but I did not personally see it.
  18. I didn't get the desired time for the 1st night and I think I had to swap a couple around but everything worked out overall. I was on pretty early and went to the dining line immediately.
  19. One important thing I forgot to mention. On Royal they gave us these ear pieces so we could hear what they were saying even in the back. This was an issue on other tours. Great idea and execution.
