I do have other OBC from other sources... TA group, nextcruise, etc, and I unfortunately don't have a good record of what I already had. Maybe I'll call C&A.

I submitted my shareholder benefit request a couple of days ago for about 9 cruises. Got a rejection today, said I didn't have a reservation number. I'd like to figure out which, if any, didn't go through. I don't want to do exactly the same thing again and get the same results, and/or request OBC twice for the same cruise. Also, it's a bit of a pain to fill out, andId like to not waste more time. Recommendations for next steps?

This thread has been really helpful. I usually get on board and live with the half&half crapshoot. I'll be bringing some onboard from now on, either minimoos or a quart in a cooler. Gotta have my half and half!

Just booked Ovation Honolulu to Vancouver on 4/29/25. Has that been out there for a while and I missed it?

We flew in the day before, stayed at the airport hotel, then took the RCL shuttle from the airport to Ravenna the next morning. I would never do a same day of cruise international flight.

Us, too. We book on day one, with the one of the guys wandering around. We always ask nicely with a smile.

Also, if you're staying in Venice there is probably a shuttle from the Venice transportation center. We did our actual Venice visit after the cruise, and took the shuttle from Ravenna straight to the transportation center. Bought passes for transport, and took a water bus straight to our hotel. I would think that they pick up from there as well.

You can take the shuttle from Venice the morning of the cruise, after a day and night in Venice. We stayed at the airport hotel, took their shuttle back th the airport and got the shuttle on cruise day. Check with a TA, or call back and and just say you want to book the shuttle. Don't mention your arrival date. It probably confused the agent.

Oh, wow!!! We're doing a best of Japan on Celebrity 4/8/25 -4/20/25. It would be so cool if a Tokyo-Vancouver sailing were available to bring us back to North America!

We book onboard, 18 months to 2 years out, depending on the itinerary. Low deposit, OBC, and then we watch the prices go up, and up, and up... (if there's even a cabin left in the category for comparison!)... It really takes the sting out of the booking prices and final payment. If the price drops, we call and get the new price. 😁

We jumped on it when we were onboard last February. We were planning a land trip to Japan in 2020. Yeah, .... something came up.🤣🙄

Ours is a 12 night on the Millennium. Fingers crossed!

We booked a 2025 "Best of Japan" trip on Celebrity in February. Like you, I wish Royal would 1) have similar itineraries, and 2) publish them if they do!

We would like to take more cruises in suites, and are flexible in terms of dates and itineraries. Is there any way to sort through cruises based on the cost and/or availability of different categories of cabins?

We're doing a Transatlantic in fall 2024 with our son and his family. They want to make sure they book online activities (shows, etc.) early enough to get the times and dates they want. When should they start the site checking regularly?

I'm hoping we'll go there on our 7/30 cruise. All the Haines excursions are being "worked on" so I'm a bit doubtful.

THANK YOU for this great post! We are spending 3 nights on Kangaroo Island before our New Zealand cruise, and other than our lodging and transportation (flying there and renting a car), we have nothing planned yet. This is so great and helpful!

We were told the same thing, then found out on the ship that we could get a transfer from the port to the Venice transportation center. If you have enough enough time you could do this, take a water taxi/bus around Venice, then get transportation from the city transit center back to the airport.
