  1. If you have lots of OBC talk to the concierge about booking a private transfer.
  2. In your cruise in Upcoming Cruises, click on your cruise, scroll down to excursions, then click on the paper/pencil icon on the right. Notice that gives two headings booked/available. You can then click on each excursion & get full details & prices and book them.
  3. Depends which ports they’re going into. Personally Athens to Dubrovnik sounds good - especially if it goes through the Corinth canal
  4. No, ours was the same as before, make your bid, pay & submit your bid, agreeing that you can only have the cabin you’re allocated.
  5. Just had an invitation to bid for our forth coming Cape Town to Canaries cruise on Pursuit. We’re in an Oceanview which we’re happy with so have put in a weak bid for a Verandah. Happy with what we’ve offered as prices are now higher than they were when we booked (despite the fact that when I did a mock booking, there seemed to be plenty of empty cabins. I’ll come back & report how we got on.
  6. Same here using Safari/Google
  7. They didn’t a year ago when we had a few days in Rio before our Rio to Lisbon Cruuse
  8. Standard speed is $19.95 a day and I think the high speed is $7.95 a day extra
  9. We’ve had similar issues to you regarding what wines are included in the Ultimate package and with trying to get them. It’s a good idea to ask at Guest Relations for a copy of what is in the Ultimate package.
  10. Note there is no corkage charge if you drink it in your cabin. This covered in the ‘Tips for Newbies’ spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  11. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your cruise. The premium drink package doesn’t include wine, it’s only the ultimate package that includes a wider range of wine
  12. Worth looking at Katarina cruises too. We loved our cruise with them.
  13. That’s what I mean. If the Foreign Office advice is not to travel to a country then your insurer will usually cover your costs if you cancel that travel. Conversely if you travel to a country that the Foreign Office has advised not travelling to, then you usually would not be insured. My comment was referring to being covered by insurance if you cancel a cruise that involves travelling somewhere the Foreign Office has advised against.
  14. If foreign advice is not to travel then you should be insured.
  15. Was on Journey earlier this month. No limit to the number of drinks you can have. Wifi is for one device at a time, but you can log out of one device, themn log back on another.
  16. I wonder when that happened. We had one on our November//December Journey cruise. It was in Insider, the Cruise Director (Darren Lynton) turned up to say hello and I spoke to the F & B manager about drinks and there were plenty provided.
  17. You can book excursions beforehand, and packages, it’s only dinner reservations you can’t book beforehand.
  18. That’s fine so long as you can get into the port. We would not have got into the port in Dubai without some proof we were booked on Azamara!
  19. They should have sent you it, give them a ring.
  20. If you booked with a TA they have to ask Azamara for this
  21. Make sure you have something to show at the port gate that shows you are with Azamara if you are getting there independently
  22. Depends on the port. We would have had problems getting onto the Dubai Marina without it. We had to show it at the gate and the guard inspected it closely.
  23. A couple of thoughts - was there not a Cruise Critic get together advertised in the Insider. Azamara usually arranges a venue and provides drinks. Secondly if the waiter messes your order up, or you are not happy with a dish, send it back, or ask to speak to the maitre d. A New York strip instead of a fillet steak is just not acceptable! Thanks for your great and detailed review, really enjoying reading it.
