Just a quick question before I board the Princess Sky a week from Saturday. I know other cruise lines have a health question to fill out a couple of days before the cruise. I don’t see one on the Princess website. Do they not have it or do they maybe do it at the cruise port? Just want to make sure I will have everything done at the right time. Thank you

We are sailing from Port Everglades.

So we just got our check in time for 1:40. Is there any way to change this to an earlier time?

So I go to the MDR and talk to someone about an early dining time. How many dining rooms does the Nieuw Statendam have? If there is more than one, which one do I go to?

Another question. We were not able to get early dining on our cruise and don’t eat late. They gave us anytime dining. Can I make reservations to get in the dining room early? 5:00-5:30 works best for us. If I can make reservations how do I go about doing that? Do I call them or wait until I get on the ship. Cruise is in 2 weeks? Where do I go on the ship to do this?

Great to hear the obc can be used for anything onboard just in case we don’t find excursions we want to do. Thank you everyone for the replys.

So my husband and I just got an upgrade accepted from an inside to a deluxe balcony on Sky Princess or next month. We noticed that they gave us the perk of 100.00 per person for excursions which was a nice surprise. The problem is that most excursions are sold out and the few that aren’t, we are not really interested in. Will they open up some spaces on these excursions when we get onboard? Do we just lose the obc for excursions if we don’t like what’s left. I am assuming we can’t spend that obc on anything else. Am I correct? Any other advise? Thank you

My husband and I were watching a utube video on half moon cay. I didn’t notice any umbrellas with the lounge chairs. Can you rent them? I cannot lay out in the sun for very long and really did not see any shaded areas. I did notice some small buildings ( looks like cabanas) and some blue shells. What is the price to rent one of these places for a day? Thank you. Our first Holland cruise in 3 weeks.

Just another quick question. Is the Dutch cafe and NY deli open on port days? We will be on Nieuw Statendam next month. Thank you

My husband and I are taking side by side cruises next month. Will the laundry rooms be open on embankment day? Our first cruise on Holland America does not have laundry facilities so hoping that when we get on Princess Sky we can do laundry right away. Also, what time do the laundry rooms open up in the morning? Thank you

My husband and I will be doing side by side cruises next month. On Feb.11 we go on the Nieuw Statendam for a 7 day cruise. Then we get off that cruise and get on Princess Sky same day. Here are my questions. Does anyone know what terminals each ship will be on or do they change up? What would be the easiest way to get from the Holland ship to Princess ship? We will each have only one suitcase so we could walk if they were not far from each other. Thank you in advance for your help.

Good morning fellow cruisers. I am not sure where or if I can find this information. My husband and I have cruised quite a lot over the yeats but have only cruised with Princess one other time. We are going on the Sky leaving on February 18th 2023. I was wondering if anyone has pics of their MDR 7 day menu. We are thinking of doing a specialty restaurant one evening but would like to pick a day where maybe the menu is not great for us. I would appreciate any help in this area. I have looked around to try and find this info. With no luck. Thank you for your help. Can’t wait to get on this ship. The only other one we have been on was the crown quite a while before Covid.

Yes I did check the protocols but did not see anything on ports that does not allow unvaccinated to get off ship. I did just check google the ports in the Caribbean and it does look like Grand Turks is the only one that requires vaccination. Oh well, this is our first time on Holland so we will just stay on the ship and enjoy the pools and hot tubs. We have been to grand Turks a few times so we are fine with it. You would think that Holland would post any ports that require vaccinations. How is the average person to know which ports require vaccination? I don’t want to get to the port and find out I can’t take the cruise because I am not vaccinated. I know you don’t have to be vaccinated to cruise but how does it work if a port they stop at requires it. I don’t mind staying on the ship but just don’t want to be denied boarding.

My husband and I are taking a cruise on Nieuw Statendam next month. We will be stopping in Grand Turks for a day and I heard you had to be vaccinated in Grand Turks. Is this true? I looked on Hollands web site and did not see anything about requiring vaccinations for any Caribbean island. Can someone clarify this for me. Thank you for any info. You can share with me.

Good morning cruisers. I may have asked this question a while back but can’t remember and don’t know If there is a way for me to check my older posts. we are 39 days away from boarding the Nieuw Statendam and have not been able to choose a boarding time. Will I get an email when the time comes or is there something I am missing on the navigator. I have not found anywhere where I can pick our time. I really would like to board earlier than later and know the early times get taken quickly. Any help or advise on where/ how to pick my boarding time would be appreciated. This is our first time on a Holland America ship but not new to cruising. thank you

What is the earliest time I can set up my check in time. We have 66 days until we cruise.
