So I have cancelled my Seabourn excursion of Vancouver and scheduled a test at the convention center. My flight to SEA is at 5:30pm, so will have enough time. If I am able to do the proctor test the day before, I will , but if it does not work over the ship internet, I have a backup plan. I guess I will not do a Seabourn excursion on the day before, so Seabourn is losing out on my spending close to $300 on excursions.

I will try to do the proctored test when we get into port in Vancouver, and also schedule a test at the cruise port before I go to the airport just in case the internet is unreliable.

Seabourn has made this same decision.

Just got a notice that Seabourn is no longer providing antigen tests for people getting off in Vancouver for their return flight home. Why not provide the test and charge us for the test as a source of revenue. I have a flight at 5:30 pm to Seattle, so I have time, but have to now research and schedule the test. Will have to cancel my Seabourn excursion of Vancouver so I have time to do all this. Added stress not needed, but they say it is circumstances beyond their control HAL has also made the same decision.

HAL and Seabourn never work with an iPad. I have tried safari, edge, chrome, and Firefox. Have given up at this point.

I use an iPad Pro. Have tried everything.

I’ve never had any luck with safari, chrome, Firefox , or edge. Simply impossible. They don’t want you on their site.

We will have both iPhones and new iPads. Hoping one of them will work. Seems like the phone is the better way to go.

I ordered my two pack for a 2/2/22 Hawaii cruise. Yesterday it said it had an expiration date of 2/3/22. Later in the day when I ordered, there was no expiration date. Will be here tomorrow. At least I have the option to do it in the hotel two days before we board.

Testing is available 24/7 online - keep in mind the free kits someone else mentioned being offered starting in January are NOT the proctored kits, so not acceptable for a cruise or travel - just personal use.
Should you wait to create the account until you are ready to do the test?
-
Are there certain hours you can do the test.

No one has commented and has me intrigued....ONE test for two people? Doesnt make since.
I think the two pack has one test per box.

We have taken five cruises this year.
Windstar St Maarten to st Maarten
Crystal Nassau to Nassau
Windstar Barcelona to Athens
Princess Fort Lauderdale to Fort Lauderdale
Crystal San Juan to Miami
No regrets. Everyone on board is vaccinated and tested. Yes there will be breakthrough cases, but we choose to travel.
Planning the 2/2/22 Hawaii on Koningsdam (if HAL does not cancel)
Virus is going no where. We always wear a mask and don’t socialized for now. That’s OK.
Went to a Christmas party (50 to 60 people)last Saturday to find out some is sick with covid.Just got the email .
Feel safer on a ship with their protocols.

I have been having terrible problems with some websites, including HAL’s, using my iPad. Yesterday I resorted to my desktop. I’m thinking Apple must have made some changes which caused a domino effect to occur.
I wasn’t able to get into HAL at all, at one point, until I logged in through the “Already Booked” page. Hope you get your data back soon!
I haven’t been able to get on HAL or Seabourn using my iPad ever. Can use my old laptop, but its on its last legs. Not sure how to use the iPad Pro. Just get a white screen.

I know this has been discussed. I cannot access HAL or Seabourn on my new iPad Pro. Have tried. Safari, chrome, edge. Nothing downloads and I just get a white screen. I used to be able to access it with my laptop, but it has died a slow death.

After the 7% tax not being removed from my statement, I went down to the front desk, and asked why I was periodically being charged. No on had any idea, and they manually removed the tax. Came out to around $7.

When we went to get our test at Personic Health in Fort Lauderdale, we pulled up and they said they ran out of tests. Have a backup plan. Explanation was they had many walk ins. Why they didn’t save some tests for the people with appointments, who knows. Living in Fort Lauderdale we have many options to we went to another parking lot test sight and got our test.

OK, so today after my post I ordered a cappuccino and was charged 7 percent Fort Lauderdale sales tax again. Will go to guest services in person tomorrow. Person today said it would be removed . Only to be charged in Fort Lauderdale and 12 km from the port. I knowingly did not order anything because of this, but will find out tomorrow as its our last day on board.
-
As of last night no 7% tax on drinks. I think they forgot to turn the tax off when we left Fort Lauderdale. Day two only amounted to a couple dollars.

When I use the Seabourn app on my iPhone all I get is a blank white screen when I launch the app. iPad is fine, but I like to use the phone. Any ideas. I turned it off and then turned it back on. Also re downloaded the app any ideas.
