  1. Yes that is all you need. FYI, it took my son 10 weeks to get his passport with expedited service.
  2. Don't worry. You are famous. Your laundry will make it back. Maybe it is an old couple that is hard of hearing.
  3. I saw Dirty Honey at house of blues in Dallas. They were great.
  4. First concert I ever attended was the Fabulous Thunderbirds and The Beach Boys. Fort Worth Convention Center 1981. I was 13.
  5. Have a great cruise. Anyone who teaches middle school boys deserves a great vacation prior to the grind.
  6. I have received Elite offers, however, my regular casino offers are better and more sailings to chose. It doesn't make sense for me to select an Elite offer.
  7. We went on 18 cruises using birth certificates and not once was my wife asked to show our marriage license. My SIL has been on a few with us and she was never asked either.
  8. Here I thought the Carnival boards were bad. I am really surprised by the amount of comments saying it is acceptable for the rooms to be ready at 4:30 and a little hair and toenail clippings is nothing to worry about. I have been on 19 Carnival cruises and the rooms are ready by 1:30 for all. The issue to me with the rooms not being ready until 4:30 is the congestion on the ship in all of the public areas. Lots of people sitting with luggage. If this is the new norm, than embarkation should start at 2 pm.
  9. Back in 2006 Carnival had Texas Hold EM with a live dealer. I wish they would go back to it but I don't see where there is room in the casinos.
  10. Print the luggage tag as many times are you need for the number of bags.
  11. The pokerpro table has been removed from the Miracle and Breeze. There are no live dealer games that I am aware of on Carnival.
  12. sorry I meant we walked right through the birth certificate line without any delays.
  13. I just got off the breeze on Monday. We walked right through the passport line without any delays. No faster or slower than those with passports.
  14. I didn't order alcohol but I took both of our cards to several bars for bottled water and to the Java Blue for coffee. Each time i would sign both slips. We had cheers. Since they allow you to order buckets of beer I believe you can order 2 drinks at one time if you don't have cheers.
  15. That about sums up my cruise. Cruising the grand kids was fun, but I missed out on all of the activities that I normally do on a cruise. I did gamble but only a couple of hours on 2 of the days. My DW didn't gamble at all. Looking forward to my October Vista cruise without kids.
  16. Passports are not easy to get anymore. Most people have to take a day off work. Also, here is Texas most passport offices are completely booked out 2 to 3 months in advance for appointments. My son had to drive to a small town about 80 miles from where he lives in order to get an appointment. I just got off a cruise in Galveston and the birth certificate line was super quick.
  17. Disembarking was a nightmare though. I would estimate that 80% of the passengers carried off their own luggage and didn't follow the instructions. The line was an hour long when they had only called 2 muster stations A3 and A4. I will stick to 7 day cruises from now on.
  18. My SIL has been on multiple cruises with us and hasn't had any issues with her DL name vs her BC.
  19. I attended for the first time on the Breeze this past weekend. We purchased 3 cards for $50. They play 2 games. The cards are good for both. On the first game, I won $30 casino free play. It showed up on my casino account the next day. To win the free play you have to get 3 matches. The second game I won the $25 off of bingo. You only need 2 matches for this. We did not play bingo. If you get 5 matches you win $200. 3 people got the 5 matches. It was a fun and I will probably go again on the next cruise.
  20. Normally, we do not cruise during the summer or when kids are out of school. This cruise reinforced our thoughts. I didn't get the total count for the passengers but I felt the cruise was at capacity. There were lots of children and teenagers on board. I also noticed that most of the passengers were red and blue cards. Guys always had a long line. This was the first cruise that I didn't get a Guys burger. I did not smell any Marijuana on board. We did walk past a drug dog during boarding. I didn't witness any fighting or bad behavior from anyone. The most I saw was teenagers running up the stairs. Service was good from the crew and the food in the MDR was good. Overall, the cruise was great.
