This has the potential to really impact the cruise industry, but the airline industry is just as bad and I'm not just talking about the Aircraft, we came through MCO the other night and the lines for security were ridiculous lines of people all huddled together a very effective breathing ground for any potential virus.

In the end i suspect this virus is going to run rampant and it will be just another fact of life, people will get it most will get over it unfortunately some probably due to other underlying health conditions won't.

Companies are starting to tell their consultants to just work from home until the virus stops spreading.  That's going to have an impact.  Last week my husbands flights showed they were fully booked online, but there were empty seats on the plane.  He had the whole exit row to himself.

  2. I am done with Ocean Blue because it was terrible on the Encore.  We went to Food Republic on both the Bliss and Encore.  My husband loved It and would have eaten there every day.  I thought it was pretty good.  They had these amazing tacos on the Bliss, but they weren't on the menu for the Encore.

On the Bliss we were able to sit by the window and watch whales which was an extra bonus.

  3. "Norwegian Cruise Line, on the other hand, has introduced non-touch temperature screenings for all passengers boarding its ships from Chinese ports to prevent the flu-like virus from spreading. Those who have a body temperature of 100.4˚F will not be allowed to board.

Individuals who have lived or traveled through Wuhan in the last 30 days will be turned away as well."

Yeah...I must not get the humor. Bitterly or slightly, I don't know why anyone would be disappointed in the fact that they actually got a better deal. Again...just my opinion, but I think that should make a person happy.

I'm an awful person, I know.  Nobody else on this board ever would be so ungrateful as to book a cruise, and then actually hope that the price goes down later so they can get a reduction.  I'm clearly the only one who even looks at prices after they've booked.  There probably isn't a single thread on this board about people looking for price drops.

Just my opinion, but if you booked at a lower price AND you got all of the offers, then being "bitterly disappointed" is just a bit dramatic. Being that you have a better price and better offers, you should actually be happy.

I was trying to be funny - Let's just say I'm slightly disappointed.

I called, a rep updated the info on all 3 upcoming cruises, told me I needed to go into my NCL account and update my profile.

When I go into Edit my profile, it will not let me change my name, and has no place to enter a middle name.

    Am I missing something?

The rep you talked to is wrong.  You should call again.  I changed mine yesterday and the rep I talked to agreed that there is no way for a customer to change it themselves.  NCL has zero interest in having a fully functioning website, for whatever reason.
