I've recently started using Forever Midnight from Bath & Body works:

FOREVER MIDNIGHT FOR WOMEN opens with irresistible plum, night blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid. The floral heart is warmed and delicately spices by seductive spices, on a base of caramel liqueur.

There was a peach flavored drink that was pretty good. We went early and as I recall my husband and his friend got 5 drinks each, but that just depends on the bartender.

i never COUNT on wearing things more then once, what if you spill a glass of red wine on the tank top you are wearing on the first day but you also were planning on wearing it again because you expected it to just be lightly worn! or you sit on something, anything could happen!

Thank you for giving me a much needed rationale for bringing way too many tops - I just like to have a lot of options, I guess.:)

This is it as near as I can tell. I'm going to be in 13026 on my next cruise.

Hokiepoq...that's disappointing. I am seriously considering the Pompeii/Sorrento tour from NCL because it sounded like a good pace, but not good to hear that your Pompeii guide was subpar.

 

To all, thanks for your thoughts/experiences. I've been at the computer for 2 days debating all the points and so far all I have is a huge headache! Ugh.

We used Miles & Miles.

We just got back from our med cruise. In Florence we did the NCL expedition and it was just so-so. It would have been nice to have a decent map to look at, the one provided was completely worthless and the tour guide for the morning half was just ok. We were lucky to have stumbled onto a really good restaurant for lunch and then we just walked around for the rest of the day.

Our Pompeii tour was through NCL was the biggest regret. Our tour guide was super boring and there's just not much there. Here's an empty house, there's an empty house, here's the sewer, there's another sewer... At least it was just a half day tour.

We had a private tour for just the 5 of us in Rome. It was the most amazing day ever. We saw more in one day than i thought possible. Our tour guide really knew his stuff and in the afternoon his wife took us personally through the Vatican. I still can't believe how lucky we were and at a price less than half of what NCL offered, we got to see so much more. I never once had a single concern that we would get back to the boat on time, our tour guide was so professional and made sure we left the city in plenty of time to get back to the boat.

After this cruise I'm not sure I will be doing any ship sponsored excursions in the future!
