Right. Most going in a cruise check a bag. But in the good old days of formal nights we used to each check two. And so did most other cruisers. Not anymore.
The rebels didn’t lead the way to eliminating formal nights. The airlines did after 9/11 when security rules got stricter and they started charging $30-$40 per piece of luggage.
Sorry you’re experiencing awful service and overcrowding. At least you know everyone else doesn’t have Covid and is forced to quarantine since it’s so busy.
I had Covid 2 months ago and took Paxlovid. I rebounded after 2 days of testing negative.. i then tested positive for another 5-6 days. I wasn’t very sick with either bout but it was annoying. I’ve heard of quite a few rebound cases but perhaps the Paxlovid is what kept my symptoms mild.
Do you think Celebrity should have the option to limit specialty dining to one reservation per restaurant on a sold out cruise so more people have the ability to experience high demand restaurants?
Catch 22 for Celebrity.
They desperately need the revenue to recoup losses from the past 2 1/2 years. They also have staffing issues just like every other business in the hospitality industry. I’m sure they don’t mind the cost savings but they also rely on guest satisfaction for future bookings.
More like Catch-22-squared.
The word on the Bermuda streets is the Travel Authorization requirement Is ending Nov 30. I guess that gives them time to assess the situation before Spring cruise season starts.
