Is this still offered in Sabatini's? I couldn't find it anywhere on the Princess website

I think that you need to re-consider your decisions. By delaying surgery, you are extending the amount of time that you will have pain. All of the PT in the world, while it's wonderful, cannot completely fix hip pain. Hip replacement surgery will decrease the amount of time that you are in pain.After approx 2 weeks post surgery, you will be feeling a lot better. For those who delay with cortisone shots........those shots do help some people...not all. Those shots should not be given within 6 months of surgery. See if you can get the hip done before you go away, if not...rebook the trip after your surgery. The stress of worrying about this is not good for you. I wish you good luck !!!

Do we have any info on bidding and whether or not the success is impacted by your Princess loyalty levels? If two people bid for an upgrade does it help to have a higher level?

BY no means am I totally fluent in Princess transactions...however, I had issues with that stinkin medallion and it was a bit similar to what you are saying. Try going back in to that credit card number area and delete the entire contents of the cell..select delete all on the drop down if there is one. Then close out and go back in. After that, if no one else responds I would contact Princess...good luck and you could also try posting in your roll call for the cruise. Someone else may have had the same issue

Apparently running out of coffee has happened on a few cruises recently....that would make me pretty unhappy...I like my coffee

So I went into my phone and completed my info for the Medallion for our cruise. (Hubby and I are of course together in one cabin with one booking.) When I finished my phone switched to green lane. I thought I would have to go back and do the same for hubby but it looks like both medallions come together in the order. Please tell me I'm correct because I have spent way too much of my retirement time with this medallion set up!!

I got so hosed up with this yesterday it gave me a headache!! Still didn't do hubby's info on my iphone.I plan to take two aspirins this afternoon and try again!!!

I am looking at an 11:45 AM departure out of SFO on the day that my cruise disembarks out of San Francisco. Cab trip would be ??? 30-45 minutes? I think this is a safe time...do you agree?

So, on Royal Princess, i would be able to choose from Breakfast at Sabatini's or the Concierge Lounge or the dining room/buffett, right?

On Oahu, we selected the Viator "Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbor tour". They pick you up at the pier and provide you with the tickets to the Arizona Memorial. You don't pay until 24 hours prior to the tour and we selected the 11AM time frame just to allow time to get off the ship as it is supposed to dock at 7AM. You need to know which Pier your ship will dock at and you can find that online

i was so disappointed about the sold out cruises as well. However, now that I have read and researched the possible tours, I am very confident that we are doing the best possible choice. The biggest challenge was Pearl Harbor as hubby is a vet and really wants to go there. Most of the "tours" are not providing you a tour of Pearl Harbor....they are giving you transportation and tickets to the Arizona memorial and some directions. We purchased a tour through Viator that will pick us up at the Pier and provide tickets to the Arizona Memorial and it is at an appropriate time considering the timing for the ships arrival. You can also take an uber/taxi/bus to Pearl Harbor and do it yourself as long as you have the tickets to the Arizona if that is your choice. Those tickets can be directly purchased online and they are only released 60 days prior to the date.....if you decide to do it this way. Viator is less $$$ that the Princess tours for the same tour

That is good news since we have a lot of onboard credit. I see now that we have never pre-booked excursions in the past so that's how I missed this tid bit of info. Thank you. Those excursions for Hawaii are $$$$

I just reserved 2 tickets for a whale watch in Hawaii in April. I was offered the option to use my onboard credits or cash, which surprised me. I didn't think that you could use onboard credits until you were actually on the cruise. Has this changed?? Thanks for your help

Does anyone know which company Princess uses for its' whale watches out of Lahaina, Maui? Is it Pacific Whale Eco Adventures? Thanks in advance

Is it an easy walk from the tender area for Princess in Lahaina to the Pac Whale Foundation boats?

Last week I spent about 3 hours going through all of the available options for health and cancellation insurance. Hubby is a Veteran and uses the VA and I use Blue Cross plus Medicare. I chose the Princess Platinum because we wanted to be able to use the CFAR function. But, the Princess insurance for medical is a bit puny and maxes out at $20,000 per person. So, I am using an additional insurance for medical and repatriation through American Express (Build you own policy) and this was only $64.00 for the 2 of us but gives us $100,000 of medical. We are doing a 2 week Hawaii cruise with a stop in Mexico so I wanted that additional medical for piece of mind. I read last week that the average hospital stay is 10,000 plus for 24 hours
