  1. Sounds a bit like how an elementary school cafeteria would be run... Finish everything on your plate before you can have any more....
  2. I love Venezia. I will never forget the first time I walked out of the train station and saw the city with my own eyes.
  3. Supposedly it is in the lower 50's here but there is a stiff breeze blowing and it feels cooler to me. The North Atlantic is feeling a bit playful today.
  4. I tend to use the same investment strategy as you... I buy what I know and use. Fortunately for me I was firmly in the Microsoft camp. I don't even remember how many stock splits I have been through with the company.
  5. Pretty sure that you are absolutely correct. It almost seems like the same virus that almost did the cruise lines in is now becoming the cruise lines' lifeline. The cruise lines use it as an excuse for cutbacks and higher pricing and they are finding a very sympathetic clientele that are willing to follow along.
  6. That is how it is on Odyssey already. The options are to accept the block and it will be delivered to your cabin or decline the block. It makes sense. For RCI it is a very unnecessary expense to be shipping blocks.
  7. My best to you and Mike. Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I seem to have been missing a lot. HAPPY ANNERSARY!
  8. Thanks. Yesterday was a good day other than a lingering cough that periodically rears its head. Last night was another one early to bed. I just ran out of energy. This morning I am feeling really good and my head seems very clear too. I'll see how the day plays out but right now I feel like it is behind me.
  9. VD became STDs years ago. Kids today don't even recognize VD's former connotation. Now STDs have become STIs. We don't want to traumatized our kids by telling them they have a disease. Now they are just infections... Like when you get an earache...🙄

    Taxi in Aruba

I used the public busses while in Aruba also. They are an easy and inexpensive way to get around. They will get you to the beach and back to the Port area easily and for $5.00 round trip. A one day pass, ride all you want, is $10.00.
  11. Ha! But a cruise ship is probably one of the few places where you've paid a several thousand dollar cover charge in order to be able to get to the lobster.
  12. Any newbie thinking about booking their first cruise who reads this thread would probably run, as fast as they can, away from the thought. This dinner thing just sounds like so much fun... Not.
  13. Alissa has this very suttle cocky way about her and also loves to transition in and out of playing the victim. She actually is coming across more and more as a fairly disgusting person. I think she has made a big mistake tangling with Sandy.
  14. Thanks. I should just stop reading. This thread is hard enough to keep up with and I'm missing too much for posts to make sense. And I'm trying to catch up with Below Deck at the same time.
  15. Let me get this straight. You can't get into your restaurant of choice so you go over to England for fish and chips? 🤔 Covid brain fog must be setting in. 😐
  16. Warn Lisa and Owen that if business is good the only lobster they will be getting is an empty shell. 😊
  17. Maybe by the time lobster night roles around some people have become comfortable enough with their table mates to do that. I'm not sure that I would. Rather than asking it might be a more comfortable situation if someone offered up what they did not plan to consume.
  18. I really liked the screw top cans. I wish I had kept a few.
  19. Why the heck does RCI care how people choose to leave the terminal and give an exclusive contract to Lyft? I've never used Lyft and wouldn't even know how. Way to go RCI. Inconvenience your guests during an already stressful time. I'm not impressed. Edit: Now after reading @brillohead's post, I'm not so sure what the story is.
