  1. I suspect most of the "hidden" outlets are on the older ships and used when the ship was new but served things like TV's that were moved to new locations, or were duplex outlets what only were connected to one appliance. Roy
  2. Today's sunrise is from a 2010 Crystal Symphony trans-Pacific. On March 5 we visited Hilo .Roy

  4. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Dixie, Debbie, and Ann. I'll pass on the Absinthe, would enjoy a cheese doodle, and wish for progress on Identity disorder. Happy Birthday Steve, wishing a peaceful wait for the rainbow bridge for Sam, and wish Chuck a successful surgery. May Wayne be safely back home soon and quick relief from pain for Nancy. Interesting quote by Cunningham that does not sound practical. I have not been to today's port. Two monumental days in history. The meal sounds interesting. My alternative is Strawberry Bisque(MDR), Grilled Colorado Lambchops with spiced apple chutney, fresh mint sauce, and Not So Classic Baked Alaska as served in MS Prinsendam's Pinnacle Grill March 5, 2019. HAL had phased out chilled coups by then with a brief comeback for the grand voyage. I saw it on the menu and asked the Pinnacle hose if I could delay my reservation to get the appetizer in the dining room but the response was "We can serve you that here". As we started the Amazon part of the voyage the Penguins had been replaced by monkeys and they were decked out for Mardi Gras: A wet morning to start my errands today. Roy
  5. Well, Oncologist visit was totally routine. He was pleased with my PSA numbers and no changes planned. Roy
  6. Today's sunrise is among the last from my 2016 Crystal Symphony Antarctica cruise from Buenos Aires to Miami. On March 4 we visited Key West. Roy

  8. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Dixie, and Ann. Thank you Graham for the explanation of Casmir Pulaski Day. I like Corageous Followers Day, standing up both to the leaders and for them. I think the ultimate love is loving something despite it's faults but working for it to be the best it can be. Brain injury awareness is certainly important. I have a feeling the Jane Austen quote was not intended to be taken seriously. I have not been to Alicante. I remember it as the home of one of the early maintainers of the Future Cruise list. Two great dates in American history and then a day that started out great but had a horribly tragic ending. I prefer regular fries to sweet potato fries, but the air fryer sounds like a great way to prepare them. My alternative is Chilled Blackberry Soup, Penne Primvera, and Mango and Berry Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam March 4, 2019: A mild day today before rains come much of the week. My main agenda item today is a followup this afternoon with my oncologist. Roy
  9. Hal has the visual beauty while others seem to have captured the aural beauty for now. Thanks Susy, Dave, and fellow addicts. Have a great week. Roy
  10. I hope Nieuw Statendam is getting the message about tooting. Roy
  11. Looks like next up is Eurodam on March 6 and Rotterdam on March 8. Single BHB visits on 4 of 5 consecutive days. Roy
  12. Today's sunrise is from my 2018 Crystal World Cruise. On March 3 Crystal Symphony was on an overnight in Auckland: Roy

  14. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, Dixie, and Graham/Father David, Three great days to celebrate but not so much the quote. I thought I had been to Lanzarote but can't trace it. Many great days to celebrate today, especially Hellen Keller, Annie Sullivan, and Insulin. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Citrus Delight with Amaretto, Apple Cider Brined Pork Chop with Cherry-Raisin Chutney and Berries Financier as served on MS Prinsendam March 3, 2019: My AV service at church kept me quite busy but I think went very well. It's a mild day but just a teaser, nasty weather back by mid-week. Roy
  15. May not post again til afternoon but great news on Baby Murphy in yesterday's thread. Roy
  16. Yikes, another tootless HAL sailaway. Thanks Leanne, Dave, and fellow addicts. Roy
  17. Nieuw Amsterdam wasting no time backing up. Roy
  18. I have a stormy sunrise (or at least start of day) from my longest Carnival cruise which was round trip out of Baltimore. March 3, 2013 was the least sea day before returning to Baltimore: Roy

  20. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Bon Voyage @LAFFNVEGAS. Welcome home @Cruise Suzy: I'll celebrate those who rescue cats but pass on the Banana Cream Pie. I have too much old stuff, but like the quote. I have never been to Boracay or anywhere in the Philippines which is sad considering how much I have benefited from crew hailing from the Philippines. 2 great days in history. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Peach and Ginger Soup, Pork Piccata, and Peach Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam March 2, 2019: A rainy day today. Not too bad when I went out to the mall to walk but there will still be some when when i do afternoon errands. Roy
