Do you know if Dewa is still working at the Martini Bar? He is such fun!

We played Deal or No Deal on our last cruise. Won $50 in casino credit (could choose slots or table games) and then we played and ended up with $250, so a net winning of $200. It was fun and it could have easily gone the other way, but we chalk it up to the cost of an evening’s entertainment. We put the $200 away and will be using it as spending $ on our next cruise.

I prefer being in a smaller group because you have better access to the tour guide. However, I have only booked small group tours that do not do the same itinerary as the large groups. The small group tours seem to fit more in the tour because you are not waiting for 50 people to fill a bus. As for fun…that totally depends on the guide and the group of people that you are with.

The Martini Bar bartenders (aka the Bali Boys) are a hoot! They are so friendly and entertaining. I believe Dewa and Gede should still be on the ship?

Having never booked a dining package before, this thread is making me nervous. I thought I would splurge and I booked a 4 night specialty dining package on the Equinox on Nov. 2023. Am I even going to be able to use it, or is it money I am throwing away?

We were on the Oct. 13th sailing, too. Harrison was the star of the cruise! He is so adorable. Here is a photo your husband gave me permission to take. I couldn’t resist! Back to the OP…I hope you are enjoying your cruise as much as we did ours. Thanks for the updates!

I have ordered specialty coffees in the MDR after dinner (included in the Classic drink package), but I have never asked for one to go.

You can use your drink package in any venue on the ship. Just order any drink up to a value if $9. If you want something more expensive you will be charged the difference.

If you want to see Venice, I would suggest staying a day or two before boarding your ship. Last month we stayed in Venice for three nights, then took the train to Ravenna. At the train station there was a bus chartered by Celebrity to take people to the ship. The tickets for the bus did not need to be booked ahead, and the ticket price ($10) was added to our stateroom account.

Definitely check your bookings. Our Nov.30, 2023 Equinox sailing stayed the same price and now we have an extra $400 OBC. I’ll take it!
