Does anyone know why the Crown Princess is still docked in the Port of Vancouver? My mom and brother are on the ship and have no idea why they haven’t left yet.

I would guess that perhaps they would dock in Kahului instead of being at anchor/tendering in to Lahaina. From the north side of the island there would me more options for tours...if the island has recovered enough by then. It is just so devastating! 😢

Thanks for the word of caution. Unfortunately I am well versed in cruise pricing issues. I just went through an awful time with Celebrity redeploying the Beyond we had booked a TA sailing on and then proceeding to strip off the owed OBC, missing our loyalty upgrade, general pricing wrong and not granting the extra $100 in OBC for having to go through this mess.

This is it exactly. The possible itineraries we want are not included in the 50% off list at this time. It never hurts to check, though. 😊

I wish we could! But we have something much more important happening…a new grandson will be born in the next week or two! As much as I love cruising, I already love him more and can’t wait to meet him! 🥰

Thanks, yes, we have sailed Princess and have used the referral program for others. We have Captain Circle numbers, just haven’t sailed Princess in about 8 or 9 years. We prefer Celebrity overall, but choose our cruises by itinerary rather than being faithful to one line. The British Isles cruise gets us to our ancestral homeland which we think will be very special.

Hello! I am a frequent Celebtity cruiser and have booked onboard for friends who will accompany us on a future cruise but are not onboard with us at the time of booking. Does Princess have a similar policy? My brother is sailing on Princess in a few weeks and we hope to cruise with him next summer to the British Isles. Will he be able to make a future cruise booking (with reduced deposit and OBC) for us if we are not on the ship with him?

Exactly this. Price protection would have been very welcome. As it is, my 14 night transatlantic (Beyond) has turned into a 10 night Greece, Turkey and Malta cruise on an older ship (Exquinox) for more $. Will I enjoy this cruise…yes. Am I happy about having to pay more $ instead of the rate I paid for 14 nights? Absolutely not.

We haven’t tried everything, but have had bartenders that recommend martinis that particularly appeal to our “style”. One way to try many is to be the beneficiary of a Martini “show”…we tried 12 different mini martinis!

Just rebooked my cruise after Celebrity cancelled the Nov. 2024 TA. After 2 hours and 15 minutes on the phone, I finally have the correct invoice amount. Mistakes made that I caught: -NO Captain’s Club Upgrade -$200 change fee CHARGED -NO $50 Bonus OBC from the current Canada Day Sale -DELETED OBC from Onboard Booking This is just a reminder to check your invoices really carefully before you hang up from your call. My usual Celebrity Vacation Planner has moved to another department in the company, so now I am at the mercy of whenever answers my call. Time to find a good travel agent!

I noticed, too, that Infinity sailings are not available for the rebooking. It feels like Celebrity just wants us to cancel, because I will NOT pay the price for the Ascent TA. The Infinity is within my budget.

We are anxiously waiting to see what Celebrity offers for this. None of the other transatlantic itineraries interest us and we’d rather do a Med cruise, but not at prevailing rates.

I’d also like to know about 2025 Panama Canal. The only ship listed so far is the Beyond with a partial transit.

My new favourite is the ElderFire…created by Danis at the Schooner Bar on Brilliance. He won a martini competition with the recipe…and deservedly so! I need to figure out how to recreate it at home…
