  1. MSC has paved the way for the cruise ship expiring status model at 36 month and surely will be utilized as the baseline IF a cruise lines decides to make the change Also, every YT is technically clickbait
  2. Or sit in the back, if you don't like the show it's easier to leave
  3. On European sailings, the main show is at 730 and repeated at 930 and the passenger participation game show is at 830. All other sailings are at 7/8/9
  4. Even on Chic nights, you'll see folks in shorts and flip flops...If you don't see them, you're not looking hard enough 🙃
  5. This video would have like 25X the views if it was 3mins or less which wouldn't be hard to do I've said this during the pandemic and others have said this before the pandemic that lifetime status will most likely end The bigger questions are if they eliminated lifetime status, will existing customers with status will be grandfathered lifetime status and will this encompass SilverSeas?
  6. I'm certain they'd have no problem finding staff here, it's all about the money. It isn't a terrible move. I haven't done a new booking ever by the phone except for the casino dept and have seen it evolve. That dept had some great American reps and some bad ones (can tell they don't enjoy their job), lately when I've called they've all been remote either in Mexico or the Philippines and they've all been pleasant to talk to
  7. No doubt putting a random word would likely do the same thing, I haven't had a problem with entering "agent" or "representative" and half the time you only need to enter it once although it may ask you if it's for a specific department like reservations, customer service, etc
  8. She has a couple one off itineraries that stop there you are correct most of the seasons it's Cabo and SD
  9. On her first Q&A session, the new president spent more than half of it addressing online complaints with the majority of that on CC
  10. This is a gross over oversimplification, there are very few that post exclusively negative comments. It's about calling out X on their passenger unfriendly changes. Many forget during the beginning of this year that the buffet was essentially closed for dinner, vaping in the casino was nearly implemented fleetwide and as part of cookiegate they removed free cookies from Cafe Al Bacio. I'll add RCI recently put out a survey asking if folks are willing to pay for pizza. Many of us like/love X yet with every cutback, we like/love them a bit less
  11. If it turns out to be true, at the end of the day it doesn’t affect that many people as because most would book online or use a TA
  12. No. I’ve sailed 136 nights since the pandemic so lots of e-musters. There’s no way for them to even see that you watched it on the TV so it’s the honor system. I’ve never seen it crowded and have spent as little as a few second to two minutes
  13. All true yet I’m just pointing out when most board, even if they have studied the deck plan, it can be overwhelming to find anything
  14. By me; of course they want you to grab your room key so you can start spending. Anyone can do as they wish, we generally have a small carryon bag which isn’t a pain to move
  15. Even though you have listed some, I’d love to hear the top 5 hits and misses
  16. Assuming one isn’t dragging heavy check in size bags (the porters end their shift prior to the all aboard), it’s highly recommended to immediately head to your muster station and get that off your plate. It’s the only thing you’re required to do; once you get it done you won’t think about it again
  17. You have plenty of time wait for one of the many flash sales
  18. It's a non-hot breakfast. We eat breakfast first then if we head over its for a second coffee
  19. Most likely if and when she and/or the Connie are scheduled for a full renovation, they will most likely NOT mirror the Millie and Summit. Those were 5-year-old pre-Covid designs under the old leadership
  20. I understand this will never happen with the IVs, but here’s the easiest and best solution. Replace the bi-folding doors with weather tight bi folding doors and relocate the AC turn-off switch to the folding doors
  21. Don't worry, there's still plenty of time for X to remove some more menu items 🙃
  22. Not that you care but on this forum, if you were to search the posts of every person who has complained, you'd they that about 90% of us HAVE sailed on X since the restart. However, I do agree that one should keep an open mind and that nickel and diming are very subjective. We sail on Carnival the second most so I'll use them as an example. For Carnival complimentary eateries, on their newest ships in addition to the MDR, buffet, and burgers, they have complimentary BBQ, fried chicken, poolside casual Mexican, three street food stations, and a sit-down Asian/Mexican and Italian
