But you’d have to gamble it to cash out
-
So much better aft, shielded from the wind and have the option to find shade if wanted. Sunset bar if you’re willing to go early or the outdoor seating section at the buffet
-
Good one Except for the trampolines, everything while greatly exaggerated, it’s accurate and it provides the proper context

Many have complained that the number of drink choices is extremely limited

Too many people to quote… -if you’re locked out you can talk to the casino manager who can remove the lock if you convince them you’ll be playing more -The same person isn’t allowed to do contra (even money) bets, occasionally a dealer will look the other way for a few if it’s a relatively low dollar amount. As stated, if you’re a couple each of you can bet making it an effectively a contra bet -Unlike roulette where you can lose on 0/00s, if baccarat is open (ask them if they’ll be opening it if it’s closed), you can’t really lose because a tie is a push, however, if the banker wins, you will have to pay 5% commission. Still a much better bet than roulette where you could lose it all

How does Celebrity compare to Carnival?

Cruise food is NOT fine dining, not even X marketing dares to try to say that…lol. With that being said, the service is usually on par with upscale restaurant such as mid-range steakhouses like Ruth Chris, capitol grill, flemings, etc -
It’s all about theo, which is inclusive of the games house edge…So for comped rooms, slots are best and blackjack is the worst per $1 bet

Offers are generated by the computers, you either have an offer or you don’t which is solely based on your last sailings play. BCC reps can and do give incorrect info but a different rep cannot manually create an offer. FYI, they fired all the BCC reps from US reps and now they’re all out of Mexico City

They both have their pros and cons which are subjective. AIs usually have multiple large pools and full time beach with lounger access. We personally do not see X’s 45mins of foam archery as an activity nor do like never being able to find a pair of loungers on X, so we would take an AI over an X sea day

While an extreme minority can suffer for up to 3 days, the overwhelming majority suffer for no more than a day

I’m sure the main reason for the change to most bars was to reduce staff and as a bonus, they save a few bucks by eliminating the hors d'oeuvres

From AI/GPTChat 1. Court Size: In badminton, the court is so vast that you need a GPS to find your way back to the net, while in pickleball, the court is so tiny that players have to take baby steps to avoid falling off the edge. 2. Equipment: Badminton rackets are as light as a feather, making you feel like you're swinging air, while pickleball paddles are so heavy that players develop Popeye-like arms just from holding them. 3. Playing Surface: Badminton courts are magical places where the grass whispers sweet motivational words to the players, and pickleball courts have trampolines disguised as floors, launching players sky-high with every bounce. 4. Scoring System: In badminton, scoring can be so confusing that mathematicians are called in to calculate the points, while pickleball scoring is a mysterious code known only to a secret society of paddle-wielding wizards. 5. Gameplay: Badminton rallies are lightning-fast, with players moving at the speed of Usain Bolt on roller skates, while pickleball resembles a slow-motion dance-off where players exchange delicate shots like ballerinas in slow motion. Remember, these answers are purely for humor and shouldn't be taken as accurate descriptions of the sports. Both badminton and pickleball offer their own unique experiences and enjoyment!

Contact for top of food chain for employee par excellence

Perhaps in the future the best course of action is to ask the crew member who can you specially send praise to? My WAG (Wild A$$ Guess) is if you reach out to the exec office, that a passenger is praising Mr. John Doe, the passenger will receive a reply/call saying "thank you", the exec team won't bother the CEO and forward/send an email to their ship POC. That's where I can think it can get lost, on its way down, so perhaps going too high isn't the best course of action. Furthermore, there's a chance the comment could get bundled as a "team", such as "the MDR waitstaff received passenger praise, keep up the good work, team!" Also, just pointing out that while contract extensions exist, more commonly it's about receiving follow-up contracts so you know you have a job before you go on break. Many who have families do NOT want an extension at all -

My favorite with is when you see the girl walking by and there are 3 or 4 guys who put on their sunglasses…They think they’re being discrete but they make it more obvious -

Like @Jim_Iain said, in addition to the trackers, get something like this. Three reasons why: 1) For yourself, can identify them quickly and also when flying internationally and go through passport control, by the time you get to baggage claims, airport workers may have already pulled all luggage off, pack them tight off to the side 2) Prevent a other people from mistakingly grabbing it 3) Lowers your chances of a thief stealing it because It stands out so much, they usually want a generic black or silver/black bag as if they’re confronted they can’t push the excuse they took it by mistake -
It all comes down to this, on previous sailings, did you spend time on your traditional balcony? If yes, the majority would prefer the DPV. If no, give the IV a try to enjoy the extra room, you’ll prob like that better and there’s nothing to be ashamed of

How does Celebrity compare to Carnival?

You have to try their newest ships, Mardi gras or Celebration just for the food. The Italian restaurant and Asian/Mexican restaurant are free and do not require reservations like they do on other ships. Also guys BBQ is free for both lunch and dinner. There’s street food with 3 stations and big chicken -
All cruise lines are, however the downside is it’s an extra duty for the crew who normally have time off

First was going to ask, what did you do while in the ports? Embarkation windows are "recommended" or "suggested". I've been on 14 X sailings since the restart, only in 2021 were they enforcing boarding times by setting up outdoor queues and it was less about enforcing boarding times and more about satisfying locals laws of not having too many people inside the terminal. Even then, if you tipped the porters they would escort you inside cutting all those lined up in the outdoor queues. A lot of people may not be happy about that but it was the reality in 2021. We just did the Beyond in "Rome", arrived at the terminal at 10am and it was first come first serve, on the ship before 11am despite having a late boarding time

Has anyone done the HIIT Class Pack?
NutsAboutGolf replied to WrittenOnYourHeart's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I'm all for fitness and understand some need to book something so they stay motivated but it just bothers me personally to pay for schedule fitness classes on a vacation. Even if it takes you an hour, do 50 burpees a day in your room
