Happy Cruise Day!! I am so jealous and there is the extra sting of it being a balmy 11 degrees here in Texas. I am having a spiked coffee, listening to the water dripping in the sinks (hoping to avoid frozen pipes) and ready to stay up to date with all 3 lives!! Enjoy!!

Those breakfast tacos look great so I was thinking since I am not cruising maybe I should get those for breakfast tomorrow. Sad to report that I don't see them on the close to me Cantina Laredo menu.

I did the pasta class on Mardi Gras with my son and we both loved it. I came home and bought a manual pasta roller and we still use the recipe and make the noodles and sauce when he is home from college.

Wait...no made to order omelette stations anymore? That is a big change.

I was there about a year ago and the struggle was real. Lol. Thankfully my sons helped me stay on my feet. I love the water there but that climb out is tough.

You can always choose to have your own formal night as well. If there aren't enough "formal" formal nights for you just break out your fancy dress any night of the cruise.

Depending on what you are looking for we also really like Shrimp n Stuff and Hubcap Grill ( although we prefer the Kemah location to Galveston).

Before going with Falstaff check their reviews. We used them before and they were great but the road to their entrance has been under construction and in bad shape...hopefully it is fixed now. We used portparking.com for our last two and had good luck and never waited long for a shuttle.

Does Air Canada have a lounge? Maybe they'll give you day access?

Do the performers use the aisles at some point? I've seen this done at different shows during and before they need access.

I am really bummed our 2024 Alaska cruise does not stop at Icy Strait Point. We stopped here in July and did an amazing whale watch tour with Glacier Wind Charters on their 6 person boat. However our port times were short so we couldn't do the Sky Glider. I need a long stop here so I can do both!!

If you google Prof Cruise NCL menus they have the MDR menus and they look pretty recent. If they are prime rib is Day 7.

Also O'Sheehans will have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are 24 hour sit down service and beside their standard menu they will have a dinner special.

We did Alaska first class in July from DFW to Seattle and back. Our DFW to Seattle plane was older and the wifi didn't work and the seats had seen some miles. The return flight had the nice seats with a footrest, etc and all of the in-flight entertainment. We also learned that first class now only gets lounge access if one of your flights is over 2100 miles. We had about 4 hours so we did pay the $30 per person day rate which they offer if the flight is less than 2100. We ended up seeing 2 lounges because of gate changes and they are very nice.

I am pretty sure premium will also include free beer, wine and cocktails since the flight is over 350 miles.

Following along. Just got back from a July Alaska cruise on Quantum of the Seas and liked it so much we are now booked on NCL Encore for next August. I'd like to do a one way next time with a couple days in Alaska to explore more.

I am late following along however I had the best prawn dish I've ever had at a restaurant in Nice. It was so good that my mom and I went back the second night of our stay and I had the same dish. This brought back wonderful memories.

Next time you fly out of DFW you can get it.
