  1. I have zero memory these days for details like this. My license has the gold star on it. According to PA's website, that means that I got the Real ID license. If that is so, then I just walked out with it. THAT I remember.
  2. Like asking for a virgin Cuba Libre. 😄
  3. There is on the Anthem so I'm assuming there is on the Odyssey.
  4. No, the rule is "government issued photo ID", not just any old ID with a picture on it. In PA, you walk out with your new license in hand.
  5. In 2019 I did PC both ways, first westbound then eastbound (then TA and Med) on the Jewel, Radiance's sister ship. On the first, after a tour in Cartagena (private, arranged by the wonderful Lee, a.k.a. Mr Emerald, an ex-pat from Minnesota), before we returned to the ship, I saw this party boat out in the harbor. They were having SO.MUCH.FUN. when I got back to the ship, I asked about it, and booked it for the next cruise. OMG. BEYOND so much fun! A real highlight of my cruising experience! It was also the easiest way to return to the ship! 😄
  6. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get back on the Odyssey for the fall WB transatlantic!
  7. If the bar sells wine. 🙂 Vintages would be your best bet for that.
  8. @djmike - when I saw that the reply was from you, hoping that you were going to Oasis, my heart skipped a beat. I miss you!
  9. If you use the drop down menu, you can see that not every ship is listed.
  10. I am enjoying your review WITHOUT PICTURES ALL TEXT. 😄 It's Chops. 😉 I had one of those studio cabins back in 2014 when Quantum debuted in New Jersey. "Cozy" is what real estate agents call really really really really small homes. Nowhere to sit but the bed. (I call that thing at the vanity a "tuffet", as in Little Miss Muffet). Eventually, I brought in the chair from the balcony to have somewhere to sit. Just a suggestion. 😉
  11. Ok, @RatedPG. You seem to know everything. Who is taking over for Ricky on the Oasis in May?
  12. Pro-tip. Make friends with someone on the first cruise. Give them cash for the bottle you want. Have them buy it. It will be delivered to their stateroom on the last night. Pick it up from them. 😉 😄
  13. There have been posts on here about people who had to go see the "uh oh" desk at the pier, and were permitted to board after someone at home MADE A PHOTOCOPY OF A BIRTH CERTIFICATE and faxed or email that to the pier person. Sounds crazy to me, but more than one person has verified this. If they will take a faxed photocopy of a birth certificate, you would think that they would take a photo of your driver's license. But what do I know? I always travel with my passport.
  14. it depends on the ship. Shop Onboard Wine & Liquor with Royal Gifts | Royal Caribbean International
  15. Did you get the category of cabin you booked? If so, it should not affect the RoyalUp process.
  16. Only ships that are making port calls use the dock in Old San Juan. Embarking ships use the PanAmerican dock, some distance away.
