  1. @crzndeb - my flight isn't until 10:55 P.M. Even if I use luggage valet, I'll still have a small bag. What the heck should I do all day?????
  2. 1. Forever 2. Yes Or, if you prefer. It's not there now. Mamma Mia is on there now, and will remain forever.
  3. A friend of mine received his renewed passport yesterday - 5 weeks and 2 days.
  4. It would be utterly counterproductive for them to only allow it on one specific day. They would be swamped on that one day, and no "business" on the other days. Stupid. 🙂
  5. Those headings are not from the RC website. THIS is from the RC website: Pre-cruise testing is no longer required to sail, with a few exceptions. At this time, only the following sailings have pre-cruise testing requirements: Cruises from the U.S. and Caribbean that visit Colombia Transpacific Sailings Cruises from Australia
  6. You will each pack your own things at the end of the first cruise and leave them in your first cabin for the cabin attendants to move. It would be a good idea to print out luggage tags for the second cruise and affix them to the appropriate bags. Talk to both the old and the new stewards before the end of cruise #1. Or put only your new cabin number on all bags and give your son his bags later in the day. (probably would be less confusing for stewards that way). During the turnaround process, he will stay with you, so that's taken care of.

  8. About the UDP? About Anthem? About Izumi? I did not see any of these.
  9. I am truly enjoying your review! Thank you, @trippingpara, for sharing your great photos with us.
  10. Where you park depends on the month you are sailing. When there is only one ship using Cape Liberty cruise port (Anthem in the "winter"), everyone gets to park in the garage. Take your ticket with you, because you pay at the machine outside the garage after your cruise. If you are cruising at any other time, at least three ships are using Cape Liberty, and the garage is only for vehicles with handicapped plates/placards and for consecutive cruisers. Everyone else is directed to the surface lots. The one right across the street is not assured. Most people get directed to the one farther away. There is someone standing at the entrance with a handheld credit card machine. You pay then and there. There is a shuttle bus at the farther lot; many choose to walk. In either instance, it is best to drop off luggage and passengers before parking. 🙂
  11. Anthem's Izumi offers the $34.99 dinner. This includes one small plate, two large plates, and dessert. (there is a secret: you can "trade in" dessert for a second small plate). This is the meal that is included in your UDP.
  12. ...and there is no requirement that anyone else buy the card.
  13. I am so sorry that you experienced this, but didn't you say that it was 12:30 a.m.? That would be before the 1 a.m. curfew that you mention. That hardly excuses their behavior, but your pointing out the times is weird.
  14. Yes, you can order a la carte, but the fixed price dinner is $34.99. (or included with dining package). One small plate, two large plates, one dessert. And there's a little secret: You can "trade in" dessert for a second small plate. 😄
  15. Hasn't change in a few years. Still $25 a day.
  16. OH MY LORD, DO NOT BUY A DINING PACKAGE ON ENCHANTMENT. Enchantment has ONE, count 'em, ONE restaurant: Chops. That's it. Chops. Nothing more. Nada. Zilch. Bupkis. Not even Johnny Rockets. JUST CHOPS. 😄
  17. Ok, you added this. There is an optional upcharge for lobster at Chops. That would not be covered by your package. But everything else is.
  18. To expand: Solarium Bistro is complimentary for all. Izumi only has a surcharge for Hibachi, which Quantum doesn't have.
