There is absolutely NO standard amount. It varies tremendously, and unpredictably. The only thing you can do is look at a cruise that you are actually pricing and, as stated above, go all the way through the booking process, then options such as insurance, dining time, and making your cruise deposit refundable, will appear.
I *think* what they were telling you is that the lower rate is with a nonrefundable deposit. You could switch to that, if you wanted, to save the money. (i.e., the price difference you are seeing is for nonrefundable. You paid more to get the refundable. If you want to give that up, you can)
FWIW -
I never take wine on board. I get enough from Royal delivered to my cabin.
Sometimes I get too much, and I take it home with me. I put it in the large suitcase that RC hauls out of the cabin corridors after 10 P.M. on the last night, stores in the hold with hundreds of other bags, then delivers to the terminal for pickup on disembarkation day.
Never has one of my bottles broken.
🙂
Possibly. But they made some pretty significant changes on Odyssey, and Symphony is NOT a twin of Oasis.
Suggestion: Compare Oasis & Harmony (since both of those are available). If they line up, it's more likely that Symphony does. (but no guarantees, of course)
So, I tried some of the codes. It is the newest ships that don't have the grids available, at least not at that URL.
So can I, plus the parking is 40% less.
I am looking forward to the arrival of Vision. Enchantment's quirks and foibles annoy me. Grandeur made me a lot happier.
And as I always say, I'm a mother. I love all my children equally. But Anthem is still better than Enchantment. 😄 😄 😄
