We are on Apex at the end of the month. This will be our 2nd time on E Class ship. I'm not looking forward to the limited food options in Luminae. I've been looking over the new Luminae menu. I just looked at the 1st night menu in Luminae. My choices are Veal, Cod, Duck, Veg or NY strip steak. I wont eat veal or duck and not that fond of cod. NY strip steak should have good flavor, but might be tough. MDR has Prime Rib. I really dont have the option of dining in the MDR as we are traveling with friends. I might order Prime Rib to be delivered to our suite. I'm looking forward to trying Raw on 5. Might try Fine Cuts for the Prime Rib.
As our last E Class cruise was only 7 nights. I'm hoping to get a better feel of the ship as this sailing is 11 nights. Glad to see the Chocolate Sphere is still on the menu on night 9. Our last 3 cruises have been 7 nights. X does not serve the Chocolate Sphere on the 7 night cruises.

Do my husband and I, both need to purchase the premium access Wi-Fi perks package, or can we just buy 1 but we both get to use 1 device at the same time?

Ok this why I rarely post on these forums because of the obnoxious troll always finding me 😞 thx to all others giving perspective . I’m a long time celebrity sailer. The solarium has always been marketed as an adult only relaxation space part of the spa . For this May cruise there’s been quite a difference FOR ME . Heavy drinking , drunk behaviors, it’s not pleasant Just wanted to ask if others see or feel the same. Maybe this specific cruise has the big parties IDK
I do think of the solarium as an adult only relaxation space. I do understand having kids hours on sailings like Alaska. I have not seen what you saw. Might it have some to do with your sailing being 6 nights. More of a party cruise.

I know we can book Royal on X. Can we book Silversea on X. I did do a google search.

I have been looking at Silversea. Friends have asked us to join them in Jan on Silver Moon.

I asked our TA about using FBC for our up coming cruise. Our flights are Seattle to London and return. FBC could not book our flights because I wanted business class going and 1st class on the return to Seattle. I ended up booking the flights myself.

Last Nov I linked my MIL and her sister non suite cabin to our CS cabin. The reason I linked the reservations was to book Murano for 6:30. Even with the reservations linked I could not book 6:30pm for the 4 of us. I could book just the 2 of us for 6:30. So I called the 1-800 number for Retreat guests and I got the date and time I wanted.
While on the ship I wanted to know how much OBC I had left. So I went to ask the Retreat Concierge. He said you can see your OBC on your MIL tv in her cabin. He had no interest in helping me. He also said it did not really matter as both cabins have the same CC on file. You would think that the OBC would be linked to the reservation that OBC was given too.
I do understand X and their IT department have issues. Just thought I would have better service from the Retreat Concierge.

My MIL and her sister decided to join us last minute on Eclipse last Nov. We were in a CS and they had a non suite cabin. 2 of the nights we ate in Luminae about 6pm. My spouse then had dinner in the MDR with his mother and aunt in Select Dining. Never was a problem. On Prime Rib night we all ate in the MDR. I ate 2 Prime Rib dinners. It was a nice change from Luminae and Blu.

I am a fairly big guy >250 lbs (or >114 kg) and have never been asked my weight on an excursion. I have never even seen a scale on an excursion.
We did ziplining when my spouse was about 240 lbs. They put a different harness on him. He has lost the extra weigh and is now 155 lbs.

On our March cruise on the silhouette we were charged an up charge for the Elegance Chardonnay and the Mer Soleil Chardonnay in the Retreat Lounge and Luminae. I didn’t think that the small up charges would bother me, but because I don’t consider these to be premium selections, it annoyed me more than it probably should. However, I didn’t mind paying an up charge for Caymus. In our experience, the sommelier was not willing to open a bottle not offered on the per glass list but it could have been just the ship we were on. We’ll be on the Apex in July and will try again to see if they will accommodate the request. Overall, we’ve found the wine by the glass selection to be woefully inadequate. That, coupled with the increase in suite pricing has prompted us to investigate other cruise choices. This is too bad since we just attained Elite Plus status with X.😂
We are on Apex next month. You were charged an up charge in the Retreat Lounge for Mer Soleil Chardonnay?
This is very disappointing. Mer Soleil Chardonnay is my favorite wine. Someone on Facebook said you can only get Mer Soleil Chardonnay by the bottle now at $76.

We only ate in Blu twice, because of the menu. On that particular day, there was no beef, chicken or fish, that just seems odd to me. Sometimes you just want something simple, so we would go to the MDR because they have the classic options available.
The classic options have been available in Blu and Luminae. Has something changed?

Yes ask your butler or room attendant for white or red wine. It is normally not a problem to switch.

I thought it was previously limited to twice per cruise in a RS, but maybe that was outdated info.
This is what I remember or heard. RS and above did have Unlimited laundry. Then at some point I heard some in RS and above with extended family members not staying in RS and above bring their laundry to the suite and having their laundry done for free. So X limited the free laundry to twice per cruise. Looks like X is going to try free laundry again.

Thanks for posting the full list of inclusions. I don't see any mention of upper suites having access to the thermal suite as mention earlier in this thread. Are these inclusion notices stateroom category specific?
Look at the pdf on post 7. It is on page 2 of the pdf.

I look at it this way. If the restriction is 250lbs and you get hurt or die on the excursion. The insurance company is off the hook. You signed a contract knowing the rules.

This is our favorite type of transport as well... well worth the cost for 3 of us. May I ask who you booked with? That's a very good price!
Britway Airport Transfer.

I wanted to stay at The Pig in the Wall. Rooms were all booked up more the 6 months in advance.
Our cruise out of Southampton is in about a month. After doing my research I went with a private car service. The private car cost from Southampton to LHR terminal 5 is £164.50.
We added extra days before our cruise to go see Winchester Cathedral. It is about 20 mins by train from Southampton. We are also spending 2 nights on the Isle of Wight to see the island and Osborne house.
Other interesting things to see near Southampton are Bath and Stonehenge.

No corking fee if you open the wine bottle in your cabin yourself. Then bring your glass of wine to dinner.

Library offerings on the Edge?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
The libraries on M Class Millie and Summit now have 2 inside cabins. I did a quick look at S Class ships. Seems like they still have libraries on deck 11.
