  1. Surprised somewhat that you can still see this screen as I was under impression from other posts that is was gone by now. Certainly no more arrival groups/times - just come to check-in when convenient for you, but don't arrive later than Travel Summary indicates. You should check if you are running the most current version of the App or clear App cache.
  2. Understood, but we have done probably 99% private touring and never sweated a return except once was a bit tight to schedule. However, it was a special sutuation and traffic was affecting all and tour guide went above and beyond. What I find is the private companies HAVE to be on time as directly affects their business and the Princess tours always have laggard buses returning to port.
  3. I am sure you will figure out something else to do about the OBC.
  4. Right per the above. A TA with scores of clients doing scores of trips, including a multitude of cruise lines is not going to be spotting the fare drop for your voyage. You are the spotter for the TA who then executes the change.
  5. Some of you folks should have your names engraved on chairs or cabin doors.
  6. The Web version is limited functionality - as I mentioned above. It has a different look/feel. It doesn't always perform tasks the same as the App. For example, something might work smoothly on one platform, but not on the other. Logging in might work fine with one and not the other. It's a mystery, but we don't know the system architecture.
  7. Okay, put it this way. There have been scores of versions of the App released, but only one version is official at a time and only one version - be it the most current or not - lives on your device at any moment. SOME of the App functions are available on a second platform (web access from a browser) with all functions delivered in the smart device App (Play Store sourced). The Web version has the Ocean Ready functions, plus DineMyWay (DMW).
  8. That's Canadian Whisky to you, sir! 😉
  9. Posts 51 & 16. Thumbs up there. I gather you had not yet read that various documentation, including Travel Summary were not updated at roll-out. Presumably they will get around to it some day.
  10. Possibly, but we won't get to wake up in a shower with a glass door a year from now and find this was all a bad dream. For the younger set who my not be aware....
  11. Take a look at your profile photo that pops up from the left side of the screen (or that's where it used to be). There is a PCL Sea Witch logo by your photo. What color is it? I am thinking yours is Blue (newbie) and the System is not recognizing your correct CC Member Level. It should be doing that and then applying the 50% discount. If not working, just wait until on the ship and order it then using the App and should be good. All else fails, visit Internet Cafe and get the discount applied.
  12. You did not really pay these amounts. You paid $550/pp for the Plus Cruise Fare Package. Subtract that from your cruise fare shown on an invoice and the net is what the cabin cost was. (If your TA discounts, that may or may not be easy since they may only show your net cost on the agency invoice). Also, if your TA discounts the cruise fare, you will have received a discount on the $550/pp as well since it is all bundled. You did book quite some time ago as you even paid the old CA value $15.50/pp/day. Princess shows their list price market value for each element. In this way, the drink package is WAY over-priced, so don't worry about the numbers. Just be concerned with the included elements. PS - Princess will contribute $17/pp/day to the "tip pool", but you do not need to pay more. If you upgrade to $60 Plus, of course that package will then indicate a CA amount of $17/pp/day.
  13. Enjoy the OWB. We were lucky to enjoy one for a few days off Taha'a in FP.
  14. We have not found proximity to elevators to be an issue. Bigger issue has been if there are noisy neighbors in the passageway late at night.
  15. Certainly seems possible on a deck full of bodies in loungers. But then there are all the empty ones with a towel or a paperback "saving" them.
  16. I had similar situation last year with two ships, five days apart and they never got mixed in the way you describe. Access was fine both with App and web version. Seems like a data issue or bug. They surely shouldn't be combining - date gap and different ships. I'd document and send it to OCEAN Team. Include details of what happens each way you try it and the details should help them debug.
  17. My phone can have a mind of its own at times when in my pocket if I don't hit the power button to black out the screen and put it to sleep.
  18. Only makes sense if they have a "no-show" fee charged to on board account.
  19. No, it is not too early. Have you tried the web version of the App logging in with Name, BD, Booking Number.
  20. @Carnevale has at least two different cruises booked and different package on each one.
  21. Yes, saw that after. Your post #14 is likely the easiest workaround until on board and can consolidate cabins onto the preferred card. Post #15 mentions calling in as well for shorex.
