  1. Are you BOTH blocked from login? The App doesn't access the Cruise Personalizer. That one is at Princess.com. Can either of you login to Princess.com with Userid/Pswd or Name/BD/Booking Nbr? You should each have unique logins and might work as long as one record is still good.
  2. That is unusual. You could write AskOceaMedallion@carnival.com and include the error message above and explain history. I believe A360ad7@carnival.com goes to the same place. Another option is to call into Princess and listen to phone options and select the one for help getting Ocean Ready. Tell them the history and the error message. Get them to check the BD field. If you booked with an Agent, call them and they can pull up the booking in POLAR. Get them to check BD and Name spelling. I suspect a data corruption issue. Did you ever re-fare since your last good access?
  3. It is advertised online and can be accessed using the agency website. I have looked at it in the past and was never overly impressed. I do much better with my discount TA in US.
  4. Anyone can "see" and use this sale if they know about it and are shopping around at the time it occurs.
  5. I don't recall exactly, but I think PCL was offering OBC at the time. I am not 100% sure, but the $800 may be from Princess and anyone could get it. The $85 is definitely agency group OBC. PS - IMO, the CAD value means nothing since on board items are in USD as is the OBC spent on on board charges.
  6. Good question. I tried to find out back in the Spring and no answers. Hopefully, someone will post the process this Fall. If they have copies of the sheets, there is still the issue of communicating back to the ship as to what has been booked by Suite guests so they know when the racers arrive up top following start of boarding what inventory is available. Also, guests arriving at the offsite post general boarding start won't be able to book unless the hosts over there can radio the ship and discuss. Perhaps the ship blocks off X nbr for Suite check-in and then releases any not taken later. It's all a mystery and hopefully someone will post the information.
  7. All the check-in is completed at the office and your luggage goes directly to the ship. I believe you are directly escorted on board - or have a pass card for that. I forget exactly the step from Spring 2023 posts in this Forum. Definitely not waiting to board as they only take guests over once ship is ready for boarding. I believe you get sent up front, but forget the details. PS - they have noshes and beverages there like in the Elite/Suite lounge on second floor of T2.
  8. Or, it is just another dangling carrot stick. If driving to port, guest would need to park in the garage (for example) and then get transportation over to the office - or walk if dropped off other guest and luggage first. May not be worth it if parking at the garage.
  9. They initiated this last Spring sometime. Obviously they have decided to continue it. It is as you mention in your last sentence. You will be shuttled over to the pier when boarding commences. Your baggage is taken over as if you handed it to porters yourself. Reports from last Spring were good. If you are interested in booking Sanctuary, please provide some details such as do they radio over to the ship to find out available chairs? How do you know what chair(s) you get when booking? Last Spring, no one who posted about the experience was into Sanctuary nor had details. You are correct - as long as you are at the offsite lounge prior to commencement of boarding, then you would be ahead of all pax in the terminal other than B2B'ers. I doubt they keep the lounge open much after noon as the terminal would be cleared out and guests just stream onto the ship after check-in. ETA = you will be able to make dining reservations as well. I bet they take names for CT or WMD as well.
  10. That's a little strong. Login to Princess.com and access Cruise Personalizer. Does the booking show or not? Or, login using Name, BD, Booking Nbr and it will come back and tell you cancelled or open up if still there. If it is still there, whoever took your call may have had to send a request to someone else. Did you get verbal verification it was canceled before you hung up? I wouldn't worry about it yet.
  11. This ought to have been posted in the master sticky at the top of page 1. I have suggested CC do so. As mentioned above, it is difficult to both assess your issue and provide ideas without more information as to steps you were taking and the error message. Obviously, you have been in the App before since you mentioned completing the check-in steps. The Boarding Pass screen with QR appears about 11 days from departure now. It will have your name, the ship, the date, and your lane color for check-in. You can stop worrying about being able to board. Login to Cruise Personalizer on Princess.com. Your booking will be there. Go into it and download the Travel Summary PDF to your phone or print it out. All you really need is your passport, but the TS will give you details about what cabin you have and perks that were included in your booking. As for accessing the App on phone or web version, have you tried using NAME, BIRTHDATE, BOOKING NUMBER option? What do you need the App for right now? Did you make dining reservations using DMW? ETA: Just read your post again and you say you are not getting into Cruise Personalizer. This is bad news - that should work all the time. Are you using Login ID (email address I presume) and Pswd? Or the other method I mentioned? Try using spouse/partner login and see if that works. I am wondering if your BD got compromised somehow. Did you book self online, or use a Princess CVP, or an outside TA? PS - Welcome to Cruise Critic.
  12. Where airlines have replaced old style seats with new slimline ones so they can cram in another row or two, there is no entertainment screen on the seat back. This has been my observation.
  13. We may as well just sit back and wait for the OP to post a progress report. He knows what he is going to do. The result may be of use to some of us in future. I have no idea if there is a case or a chance.
  14. Prices are the same on all ships. $40 full day. $20 half day. $30 full day if book entire voyage. There are also Cabanas at a very steep $220/day.
  15. I did fully expect that @LACruiser88 would have posted the story. I guess I didn't go far enough in the pages to spot it. I see my post was merged in no which is the right thing to do. Thanks to on-the-ball CC Hosts.
  16. https://www.princess.com/news/news_releases/2023/10/princess-cruises-announces-exclusive-partnership-with-worlds-most-famous-butcher-dario-cecchini.html#:~:text=“The Butcher's Block by Dario,Debut Onboard New Sun Princess&text=SANTA CLARITA%2C Calif.%2C (,most famous butcher%2C Dario Cecchini. 17. True your last sentence. Did the reservations remain the same right up to getting on the ship, or did they change in the App? How were they not honored? Did you have to wait each night for a table to open or were you directed to a different DR?
  18. Tough decision. Tux or robe to keep within weight limit. LOL.
  19. Maybe all he wants is recompense for costs and not out to punish Princesa.
  20. The OP is a self-declared newbie and that is why I did not mention anything that Elites would get.
