  1. What a great performance today by the ones that learned the ukulele & hula! Well done to all!
  2. It’s called CruiseMapper. We are too cheap to pay for one 😂😂 so this one is free unless you upgrade.
  3. We tried listening to BBKings (as we have always loved them) but was just too loud for us.
  4. We had a fantastic dinner at the Canaletto tonight. I splurged & had the $19 lobster supplement and it was delicious. The tiramisu is also right up there as one of the best we’ve had.
  5. Yup. Used to be people stopped talking & listened to announcements-not now 🤦‍♀️
  6. We went to the presentation on the World Stage this morning and loved it. Isabelle Groc was a fountain of information on “Conservation Canines: How Dogs Work For The Environment” and is an author of several books. I was sorry we missed her first talk.
  7. As far as I know they do. You could check out their website and ask. Some sell out like the one you describe.
  8. Totally agree. We’ve been on a cruise when letters were put in each cabin advising of the situation. So many people ignore or just don’t hear announcements.
  9. Honestly, I think they don’t like to talk about it 🤷‍♀️. We are trying to be very cautious. Having a great time and loving this cruise.
  10. Sounds like we are heading into Kona-maybe too windy for the helicopter evacuation. Really hoping the patient is doing ok.
  11. Update for those that didn’t hear it from the Captain when he spoke. Evacuation will be delayed an hour longer so the ship can get closer to land. Hoping the patient is stable & makes a full recovery.
  12. @BermudaBound2014 lol. We happened to be where we could hear him clearly.
  13. Captain just advised the helicopter evacuation would be around 18:30.
  14. I haven’t heard anyone complain about the turning around. If I did I’d be asking how they’d feel if it was them or a loved one.
  15. The Captain announced the ship is turning around returning to the area of Kona for a medical evacuation.
  16. We had dinner at the Tamarind tonight-delicious. Service is always excellent and Anita did not disappoint. Satay sampler shrimp tempura, lobster & shrimp potstickers wasabi & soy crusted beef tenderloin Mongolian bbq lamb chops
  17. After our walking around Waikiki reminiscing, we came back for a latte & some cards in the Crow’s Nest. We didn’t last long as people hacking & coughing up a lung. Thankfully we have a balcony we can relax outside on. Saw another man on the Lido deck outside blowing his nose on the cloth napkin-so gross. 🤢
  18. I took another for the team as I tried my first ever Weng Weng. Wow, it’s strong. MrBear got a sprite which I kept adding to it. @POA1 I’ve learned from you!
  19. We decided to go to the Apple Store first thing instead of waiting for my 4:45 appointment. Thankfully it was an easy fix & I’m a happy camper! There has got to be Gastrointestinal or something going around as s&p shakers gone from tables, utensils gone & given to you by staff, water, tea etc given by staff-no self serve. Be careful everyone.
