  1. So, I'm confused. My TC said that because my cabin level sold out on the floor we booked on, that any other drops on other floors in the same category don't apply. Has anyone found this to be true?

No. It is based on you cabin category not the floor. Also, it has to be the same number of travelers in the room.

  2. We had one taken a few years ago at security by Celebrity but have never had a problem with Carnival. The funny thing is when we borrowed one from the steward, it was just like the one that was confiscated (stolen) from us. It was at Port of Miami. Now I put it in my check in luggage.

  3. Nope, they will not be getting the new interactive TVs. Just asked John H. and he said nope.

When I asked him about the upgrades a few months back, he said no to the Blue Iguana Cantina and he was wrong. I hope is is wrong twice.

  4. I think the size of the room is determined by the number of guests. On the Breeze in November, there were probably 300 of us and it was held in a large lounge. I can't remember which one but it was crowded. It was anything but a wake. It was loud and fun with Matt Meacham as the CD. There were games and the liquor was flowing. MY DH thought it would be a good idea to have as many as he could in the hour and 1/2. Start packing before you go just in case you do the same. Go early because we went on time and it was full and hopping. There were plenty of servers so no problem getting appetizers or drinks like in the past when it had way too many people. They did check our invitations when we entered.

  5. People have really strong opinions about dress code and about American Table menu. These are my opinions. I think the dress code on Carnival on a Caribbean cruise leans more casual. Most people, even on formal or elegant nights are dressed more casual. We don't take formal clothes anymore and haven't for years. We dress nice and acceptable but we are on vacation and don't enjoy dressing to the hilt. You can dress the way that feels good to you on that day. We often eat in the buffet anyway. As far as the American table menu is concerned, our only experience is on the Breeze last November. I loved it. The variety was just fine. The quality of the food was just fine and I felt like most of my old favorites were still available. Plus, there were some interesting other choices which were enjoyed by my husband, a more adventurous eater. I think that anytime dining has a more casual feel and the American table menu fits it very well. However, I thought the service was slower with the American table menu. There are so many dining choices that I'm sure that there is something for everyone. So enjoy your cruise and enjoy your many dining options with or without a tablecloth. :D

  6. I used my card, waited a few days and no points so I sent them an e-mail and asked about the 10,000 points. They replied that the points would show following the first or second billing cycle. I want them to know that I will not forget about the points or the $75 gift card.

  7. I had my 3 gift cards applied by the rep at check in instead of giving them a credit card. Each card had to be entered individually and it took a few minutes but I bet it was faster than guest services. Next time I will have the rep enter just 1 and then I will use the kiosk for the others.
