  1. The #1100 has a fan base...If it's available consider yourself lucky !!
  2. On the Canada NE itinerary now and for the small amount we'll need for our two port visits we'll just exchange a bit onboard. Usually we'll order local currency from our BofA when needing more for longer International trips.
  3. Yes...on Liberty (Oct 5th sailing) and we missed Portland and instead overnighted in Boston.
  4. Great service from Blackberry car service.
  5. I'm (OP) hoping with how well the luggage priority worked for us just on Liberty that this service goes fleetwide !!
  6. On Liberty right now and DH had no problem connecting our Firestick just as we've done on all the RCI ships we've sailed on across the fleet. Especially easy in the OS that have the swivel TV cabinets.
  7. On Liberty sailed Oct 5th Canada/NE (Cape Liberty) and received an email from our suite concierge day before checkin and told to check in our luggage at a certain zone number at the port and that it would be prioritized for onboard delivery. Cabins opened at exactly 1:00pm and had our luggage just before 1:30pm. A great service...so is this something new?
  8. The Trip Insurance Store: 888 407-3854 Talk directly to a professional Steve (often a contributor on CC) or one of his associates. They'll give you help purchasing the policy best for you personally based on your needs.
  9. Even for those of you that upload a pic, many times the port takes them regardless. So why bother.
  10. Love the early October time frame and yes St John NB is a nice port stop. We'll be doing this itinerary (3rd time) next week a 9 nighter on Liberty that will still include Bar Harbor.
  11. We had our drinks and napkins/utensils and my jacket at a table once and someone still sat there. When I walked up and said we were sitting there he said well now "I am" I asked didn't you see our stuff and he said " I thought it was set up by the staff". "Including my jacket" I said he just ignored us !!!
  12. DL One international is what I consider first class but calling it business doesn't do it justice....JMHO 🙂 But thanks for the correction.
  13. We've been to this port stop many times over the years and most recently this past January and have never had this happen !!
  14. I used to love having Traveler's checks and would cash them onboard.
  15. Agree...I bring one/two (paperback) books with me.
  16. And they wait until everything is totaled up and then start getting out their check book 😬
  17. I also saw a guest cashing a check not that long ago. But like everything else it may have changed.
  18. Our first class DL One seats LAX-AMS last year were booked in September for our July dates and they only went up .... really high....going forward. Glad I booked when i did.
  19. I would do this post-cruise. This option turned out great for us in the past. We spent a week post cruise in London which also gave us a better day of the week to book our return flight.
  20. I'm sure this was set up in advance with the ship. Hope it was a book you actually cared to read.
  21. Best of luck to you...I for one would have paid the extra to choose my seat when the reservation was made...especially for an International flight. Would never take the chance of a middle seat.
  22. Yes...once onboard they'll be a letter in your cabin with instructions. Also a kiosk with staff there to help. As far as those in a suite they will all use the same sign on the adult has used that sets up the account.
  23. A guest may cash one check per cruise as follows: One check up to $200.00 USD. Only checks written in US dollars which are drawn against a US bank can be accepted. Guests can no longer cash a personal check at the Casino cash desk; they can only do this at the Guest Relations or Guest Services Desk.
