  1. It was to your response (quote) to my post that said "show up together". If you show up together a bit before the dining room opens there's usually not that many people in line. However I agreed to your suggestion to check at the MTD venue boarding day. Not sure what you found so confusing.
  2. Disagree...not if you go a bit before the MTD room opens. But I do agree to check the day you board.
  3. We got an UpBid on Liberty to a OS for the Oct 5th Canada N/E itinerary...My bid was very low but the original price point was was over 15k (and all were still available 2 weeks before sail date) we were all in at just a bit over 4k.
  4. There are bus tours available just outside the terminal doors. No need to prebook. We've done one of these and it was great. Went around the island stopping at many sites and then you had the option to stay at the beach (they gave you a time and would be back to pick you up) but we opted to continue back into town. I think we paid $20 pp.
  5. You can also use your device as a hot spot when in your cabin.
  6. We stay in GS and above and like to order from the MDR menu (during their open hours) otherwise just order from the room service menu. No charge but agree...always tip cash to the staff that delivers.
  7. No...after hearing how reservations were handled during the covid shut down by this company we only use Cruise Control. JMHO
  8. We just sailed out of Cape Liberty and even though there was a storm and missed Portland there were no rough seas.
  9. We brought everything that could possibly be asked for...no one did...but we were prepared.
  10. We easily took a taxi that was lined up at the terminal when we self disembarked.
  11. Take a taxi or Uber/Lyft it'll be quicker and cheaper.
  12. We sail that ship and itinerary often and no need to bring special clothes you'll be fine.
  13. No...But at that age she will not count as a maximum guest number per cabana so you'll be fine. Enjoy your cabana.
  14. Recently on Liberty during the Logo (tech) trivia everyone was on their cell phone. Do they not make the announcement before the game starts to not use your cell phone ??
  15. We just stayed pre-cruise at the Hampton Inn & Suites Oct 3rd & 4th in Elizabeth NJ. Very close to EWR and they offered a free shuttle to their hotel. Hotel has been recently refurbished and is in a great location. Our two night stay was under $400.00.
  16. We never have trouble applying RCI gift certificates on line to our final balance. I do them a few weeks prior to the FPD.
  17. Just off Liberty no trivia prizes also and they were having trouble providing pencils for the games.
  18. Just off Liberty a bit disappointed in the WJ but that's a personal thought. The SL Concierge Jayson was just amazing (we've experienced many but he was over and above). Emailed us day before arrival offering priority luggage for suites. A certain zone #6 at the Cape Liberty terminal. Cabins opened at 1:00pm and our luggage the just before 1:30pm.
  19. If you have a Costco their maple syrup is very good and priced well.
  20. Was in Saint John NB today Oct 10th. Pretty disappointed at the container village vs the large tent area they used to have. A lots less vendors and talking to one vendor they are unhappy with this new option. Their rent more than tripled and it hurts business when it rains.
  21. If you're in a suite your concierge may send you an email offering a suite luggage priority check in zone. On Liberty out of Cape Liberty (Oct 5th sailing) and we did...it worked out well. It was zone #6. Cabins were open at 1:00pm and our luggage was there just before 1:30pm. Our check in time was 10:30am and it was crowded even the suite line moved slow !!
