  2. from what i remember in past, fttf is always never available on ship sailings during the inaugural year. fttf is becomes available after the ship is 1 year old
  3. yes they do. I too have similar problems and i was denied to ride due to weight issue. they refund you the 15 dollars when you cant ride
  4. guest services takes care of this onboard the ship
  5. nope, that is normal. ncl been doing that for years
  6. they was a glitch with the carnival site not showing the arrival times. from the other threads it is fixed. go back to your account and you should be able to select a time

  8. does carnival work on the weekends like tomorrow and sunday?. i got a feeling we wont get cabin assignments until monday on the 21 like what the email says. i agree they should of made changes last week or so
  9. It is live for my 2 cruises in January and March, not live for my cruises in June and August or it could just be booking for june and august since they are still in the process of being switched from magic to the venezia
  10. same boat i am and i can not do any price adjustments until i know my new cabin category

  14. Princes cruises which is part of the Carnival corporation sails out of the Brooklyn terminal late august to October new next year, MSC will sailing out of the brooklyn terminal also year round. They are going to be lots of competition out of NYC for year round sailings with Carnival, Royal, Norwegian and MSC
  15. I also received this. It seems like it is only valid on that specific escape cruise in april. very strange
  16. yes, Manhattan cruise terminal. the same cruise terminal that carnival been using for many many years
  17. Liberty is more like a mid size ship. The mega ships is the bigger ships in the Oasis and Quantum class ships like the Icon and Wonder
  18. this is what Norwegian does for their charters. a very popular charter company is called Sixthman. they rent out a ship for a month for these charters
  19. i currently have 3 cruises booked: June 2023 - Bermuda August 2023 - Canada March 2024 - 12 day Caribbean i love the longer cruises out of NYC and hope this is a sign of the future that carnival will do again. these are the type of itinerary that should be done. they are much better of the standard "milk run" cruises

  21. I had the same issues on the magic too with spotty wifi coverage all over the ship
  22. as a native new yorker and this is also my homeport, unfortunately this is correct with the people in our not so amazing city
  23. it depends on how the first one is booked. if its an early saver booking be careful with the penalty and lost of deposits
  24. check back in a few days. the booking engine might be a wonky since the booking just opened up. i noticed the same thing for the venezia sailings too
  25. you will need to wait another week for carnival to move your booking. on the magic i had a porthole cabin booked and when checked the deck plans, i see the veneiza only has 1 porthole cabin. i too am waiting for my new cabin
