  1. it depends on if you mobile device can connect to the ship wifi from the terminal building. you will need to use the ship wifi to unlock all of features in the app
  2. yes you make reservations onboard. you can not do it online anymore
  3. the problem is that bermuda only has 2 docks for these big ships and most of the berthing space is taken up mostly by norwegian and celebrity
  4. yes it is open and is not as crowded as the buffet
  5. my sail date is june and august, no cabin assignments so far.still tba
  6. on the ships ive been on, there is a button you need to press to turn on the bubble machine thing. the button is near the hot tub
  7. it is also ridiculous that some TA and PVP can touch the booking to assign you a cabin yet they are others like me who are still stuck in limo waiting for cabin assignment. both my pvp and carnival call center people told me that cant do anything to my booking until a cabin is assigned to me. i am also unable to submit any price drops because i don't know what my new cabin category will be. if they upgrade me to a higher cabin category then i may not get price drops, at least i got a free upgrade.
  8. it could be a fuel saving issue. when they sail much later at night, ship is traveling at full speed to reach the next port on time where as if they leave port at like 5/6pm the ship can travel at reduce speed saving on fuel
  9. cheers does not sell out, you can purchase it anytime
  10. i hate how both the breakaway and getaway forward top deck area used to be all open for everyone and you can see the front of the ship. with the expanded vibe area, this is no longer possible 😞
  11. sometime in the spring they should be released. usually it is a year and half in advance
  12. with both Royal and MSC doing the same Florida-Bahamas itinerary , i wish Royal does better itinerary like what Carnival is doing with the Venezia. also dont forget about NCL with the Norwegian Joy doing the Bermuda runs in the summer
  13. Wico is commonly used for all cruise ships from what i noticed over the years, Crown bay is mostly only used by Royal Caribbean family ships
  14. i do not noticed this. i got a decent price on journey cruises in the past and the veneiza journey cruises out of NYC seems to be decent price now. journey cruise is about the same price as typical 8 day cruise
  15. since you are b2b, make sure you visit guest services on the first leg to be added to the b2b list the ship. they will provide you in transit passes that you use to get off the ship in port
  16. check your pricing for any price adjustments. it is much easier to reprice before the final payment due date
  17. i am a port person, i cruise for the ports and i dont care about the ship. i always looking forward to going to places i never been compare to going to the same place like nassau a zillion number of times
  18. yes purchase early as soon as you can for the best price. you can always cancel the order and repurchase again when the price decreases
  19. these type of cruises sell out very fast, usually within the first week or so of bookings becoming available. the higher pricing you see now is due to lack of room availably in certain category's
  20. i found an article: https://www.yahoo.com/news/woman-gives-birth-board-royal-155400121.html
  21. this could be a problem in itself. too early to book flights
