  1. Was the total originally correct or were you the beneficiary of a 'mistake' which has subsequently been corrected?
  2. There is an updated version here that seems to be accurate and without conflicts... https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages/compare-packages
  3. People are often able to get their 'Classic' alcohol package downgraded to the 'Zero Proof' package, sounds like that would suit you better. For the rest, there is no chance that the 'Classic' package is really going to include all the premium water/juice, that really is just a typo.
  4. Last September was a different cruise line sadly…
  5. That isn’t correct… if you have select dining you can make reservations in advance for every night of the cruise.
  6. It is $9.95 + 18% per delivery regardless of how many items.
  7. Not gelato though, the affogato is no longer on the menu…
  8. That wasn’t our experience when boarding in Sydney in January… We had 12:30 as our boarding time (not in the Retreat), we got there at 11:30, dropped off our bags and we were expecting to wait a while, but they were set up and ready to go with nobody waiting to board, so we were asked to proceed. Very rapid process, and onboard at our cabin well before 12:00.
  9. It used to be $12, but it is usually $20 + gratuities now, so if you can actually get it for $12, it isn’t so bad.
  10. If you ever do get caught at a gas station where the pump doesn't accept your card, you can just walk in and give them cash, then fill up and go collect any change. Just say '$60 on pump #4 please' or whatever, then go back for the change.
  11. It is a complete oxymoron, there is no such thing as biscuits & gravy 'English style' ... To translate properly that would be scones and gravy, and yes, we do use them in savoury cooking such as beef cobbler for example, but never just with the gravy. Full marks to the staff for coming up with an excuse, but no basis in reality. I've spent too much time in Texas over the last 15 years to even think about ordering something like that on a cruise ship, doomed from the outset...
  12. I wouldn't even say that was true, at least for the UK, we do have tipping as part of our culture, just not at the level of the USA. It is not a new thing either, I spent a lot of time in the dim and distant past working in UK bars and restaurants, and certainly benefited from tips... It is however very true that there are some individuals who will ignore the norms and fail to do what others consider to be normal and reasonable...
  13. The inconsistencies remain frustrating at times.
  14. The cheese course is still there, but it is delivered as a plated cheese selection. Similarly the Dover sole and the table-side deboning was missing from the Murano menu on Eclipse last month.
  15. ... only if you elect to use the OBC when paying, otherwise it will come from your credit card by default...
  16. Exactly, nothing has changed, but some were expecting Starlink to improve basic as well, but that isn’t the case.
  17. We had the basic wifi on Eclipse in January this year, couldn’t even get this forum to load …
  18. ... but you are left to scramble for the times/days you want when you board, which we do not consider to be a reasonable exchange for the relatively small discount.
  19. Similarly, Murano is $60, and Tuscan $55 these days (both +18% gratuity)
  20. Currently, Concierge still lists the 'Daily delectable delights' as an amenity, but there is nothing similar listed for Aqua...
  21. We use ours on various key rings when not traveling, so have never been tempted to remove the batteries, and they will give you a warning if the battery is running low. ... but if you are getting close to a year since you first used them it is worth changing the batteries for the small cost involved...
  22. Apple Stores, Costco, Amazon... I've generally found Costco have the best price, but Amazon occasionally gets close...
  23. The vegetarian burger is still listed at the Mast Grill, but not the hotdog.
  24. This is our preference as well if sailing in the Retreat on a ship with Murano. We just let the Maître d' know we will be in Murano that evening.
