  1. Was lobster on the menu with the filet? So in other words they didn't allow you to order 2 mains?
  2. I see lobster on my upcoming cruise in Luminae the same night they have it in the main dining. Although Luminae lobster dish is supposed to be different.
  3. If they are truly going to charge only SS guests extra for the 2nd lobster tail, that is so tacky. I can just imagine the waiter in Luminae quietly telling someone sorry but you are in the cheap seats so you will have to ante up. What a joke. Also why wasn't this disclosed in all the emails and communications with corporate when people complained about the change to the butlers? This is what everyone has an issue with they are very non-transparent when they make changes to services that guests already paid for.

  5. I just checked with Microsoft Edge and it is the old style. They might be in the process of changing the look and feel and have only rolled out for certain browsers.

  7. I must have missed this but it looks like the search function for Celebrity is now just like RCL. I do not like that you cannot change the sort by sailing date and you also cannot see what dates are in the list without clicking on the view dates. They must be merging all of their IT to one group, hopefully it will help them to make their website and app better.
  8. No this is a perk for Elite Plus and above. It is valid all day anytime. Except now the original poster is saying they are not allowing it on embarkation day.
  9. Maybe contact Captain's Club because it is still shown on their benefits chart. Also was it specifically only embarkation day?

  11. Here are 2 recent offers, these were from snail mail. RCI also has a website I can use to look up all my offers.
  12. RCI also sends offers through email. I have not sailed with them since early 2022 and I get lots of offers for free cabins including Junior Suites.
  13. I believe it is the OBC that is offered for your suite. Just do a mock booking and see what the price breakdown page shows for OBC. I am not sure if it is any different than the OBC that other regular sky suites get.
  14. I have recently gotten multiple email offers and some are for Aqua and Concierge class. I was able to book an Aqua class on Ascent for this February. The recently sent an updated offer with sailings through the end of March. Towards the reopening after covid I actually had an offer for 2 veranda cabins and was able to book a 9 night sailing for 2 cabins for completely comped.
  15. Who did you get the free certificate from for the 7 day balcony cruise? I am also Gold and have not received any type of cruise offers from MGM? Was the offer sent from MGM or from RCL/Celebrity? TY
  16. I am not suggesting stalking or anything invasive. There are ways to start a normal friendly conversation and possibly get information. I would love to see how many of you who have posted here would feel if this same thing happened to your booking. And I am sorry but to depend only on Celebrity for any information anymore is ridiculous. It has been shown time and again they are not forthcoming with information, they are going to protect themselves at all costs.
  17. So it is not ok to engage in a conversation with others on the ship? As I said they didn't say to get agressive with the other passengers but it would be very easy to have a simple conversation on how over booked this cruise is and did they encounter any issues with their bookings.
  18. I do not understand why? If they are not being agressive and just casually asking what is the issue? I think these questions need to be asked because it is obvious Celebrity is not being transparent with these issues and need to be called out on them.
  19. You may want to double check your invoice. I just recently also booked a free Aqua class with BCC and it is all inclusive. Someone else on FB mentioned the same thing.

  21. I do not think Blue Chip club will work with TA's. You cannot even transfer a BCC booking to a TA.
  22. The key wording on that page is "SELECT sailings", even in that time window it is not every sailing.
  23. I find it hard to believe based on the way they wash multiple bags of laundry with all different colors, etc that they even use hot water. I would assume they use warm or cold for washing. Otherwise it seems to me there would be a lot more complaints about peoples laundry coming back tinted from other laundry. I think the bigger issue is the dryer and what is the heat setting for that.
